Any black adiddas rubber shoes will do for me, but Im using a cheap one when I go to trails, specially when dirt and water is my concern.

before i used a flatenned 5mm pvc pipe sandwiched between 2 rubber soles and made it look like an ordinary sandals. oh by the way, it has cleats attached to it at at the bottom! ;D now i use a "made in marikina" road shoes. i use it everywhere! its has plenty of scratches now but i dont care. i bought it in UK for only 500 bucks. brand new! ;D ;D ;D

My first clipless shoes were courtesy of vans (the red model palmer used in the 90's) excellent design, protected ur inside heel. Then came carbon soled shimano spd's super stiff! Pet peeve ko is when the tongue keeps sliding out of place towards the side of the shoe, bad trip.
Now i use specialized body geometry pro mtb shoes. They've replaced the tongue with a form fitting neoprene "sock" that wraps around my ankles just fine. Wish they were carbon soled though. ;D

my 01 model specialized sport spd shoes. It's been taking abuse from me since 2003 and it's still going strong. The best thing about them is that they were sold for $9.95 at the specialized online store.
