So far I've tired WTB, Maxxis and Continental but by far the best that I've had are the Contis.
How about you?
Which tire brand do you think is the best?

I never tried conti but tried tioga, michellin, bontrager, wtb and panaracer. My vote: Panaracer fire XC pro..for all around condition. good in loose and rocky trails .

Tried Maxxis and WTB in the past but Nokian Gazz 2.3s are my favorite all-around tyres here in HK. A bit heavy though. I used Hutchinson Scorpions (tubeless) on my trailbike, madali lang maupod. Now I'm using Continental Vertical Pro 2.3 (tubeless) , so far okay naman, and it bites good. Bee

Tried Tioga's and Nokian gazzaloddi duals both a bit heavy but lasts a long time. Currently using michelin comp s light and they are the greatest so far, very light, nice grip, too bad it's nearing the end of it's life. I will use WTB epic wolf after.bit heavier but looks to be promising as well

i've tried these brands:
-ritchey (the best trail tire i've tried so far) -michelin -specialized -maxxis -kenda
i've recently tried kenda and i think they suit my riding needs perfectly. not too light, not too heavy. just right.

I think the question is very general. All these brands has it's own area of expertise. Michelin and conti are a bit more on road. Maxxis, nokian, kenda, tioga are best for DH and mountain trailling. I used IRC mythos on my XC bike. It's light, stable, easy to handle and can be used on both on and off road. Gary Fisher uses IRC on his XC bikes because of the same reason.

Tractor Grip <---meron pa ba?

I was using maxxis and specialized enduro's last time pero mabilis mag-roll at slide, medyo delikado. I just recently bought IRC Kujo's and its holdin up well, sa presyo nya dapat lang, 1500 sa isang pares!!!

Tractor Grip <---meron pa ba? I remember this... Used it in my youth bike back in the 80's. Real gripy tires naka embose pa logo sa side. May mga nakikita ako na Jumbo 747 ang brand. Meron kaya 26x2.1 nun?

Very subjective but I have no regrets on using Kenda for the past two years--Karma UST 26x1.95. In fact, I'm on my second pair already. The other brand I used before was a Continental. Very expensive but worth the price.

been using maxxis for 5 years for dh and street. high rollers, mobster, swamp thing, mofo, minions, ive used them all... the high rollers are my tire choice for dh... mobsters na pudpod naman for street...
ive also used Duro 2.7's and 3.0's which surprisingly isnt in the Poll... common naman yan dito sa atin... ive used that for grotto rides since matatalim ang bato dun... mejo madulas sya but i find them excellent sa moist hardpack! high sidewalls also adds extra 1-2inches of suspension for drops!
also used intense race tires... super kapit pang DH... dapat lang! P3200 a piece!!! dali lang napudpod sa street... sayang...
worst tires for me was WTB's... really soft sidewalls... i had become a tire repair expert because of these tires! every ride pinch flat ako!
kenda's naman are ok... used them both for dh and street... nothing great, good mud tires because of the high knobs... bad for street as it makes a lot of noise and vibrates too much... madulas pa.
same with nokians... dont understand why many like gazzas... for me its nothing excellent for dh... its ok for street since the compound is really hard... tagal mapudpod...
for me i still prefer maxxis over all the tires ive used. first is because they are widely available here and they are very affordable... im currently using holy rollers 2.4 ... best street tires ive used... i highly prefer these than hookworms which is deadly on wet/moist roads... for dh, i prefer the affordable high roller/mobster super tacky than the wallet burning intense pro tires... diyos ko presyo pa lang e! di naman ako pro so bat ko lolokohin sarili ko?
wow haba ah... sorry... rainy saturday night... walang night ride...

It's really hard to make a pick for the best tire brand. Some tires are better for a specific kind of riding. Here are my thoughts on the ones I've tried:
Maxxis- great FR/DH tires. Widths are a bit undersized. I don't like their XC ones. Mine stretched and some nylon threads showed.
WTB- The DNA ones are very long wearing. Soft sidewalls for the XC like blister's comments above. One of my tires got sliced with i dunno what. Am still using the other one cause it rolls great and the treads lasts long. I think they shave the weight on the sidewalls to compensate for long wearing treads to make it a reasonably light tire.
Specialized- High volume, very light, high rolling and comfy ride. This appears to have the thinnest sidewalls of the tires i've tried but i haven't had any trouble yet because of the high thread count in their nylon (127tpi). Usually, it's just 60 something for other brands like the above brands. Unfortunately it's the shortest wearing one. They concentrated on the weight and grip.
Michelin - The one i tried was good all-around but i was just starting to ride then so the experience was with limited trail runs. Ouch on the wallet.
I want to try Kenda next.
If I'd buy another one of the brands I've tried before, the first pick would be Specialized.

kenda nevegal......no regrets..... i was so used to using low pressure on my tires during trail rides...had a pinch flat on my first ride with nevegal..very unlike michelins and nokians... given the right tire pressure its the best..stik-e really works! medyo mahal but its worth it.

Sirs, what does "High Air Volume Casing" mean with regards to tires? What does it translate to? I suspect it has something to do with tire pressure but I could be wrong. I'm currently using Specialized Adrenaline Pro. Do I read correctly that the minimum tire pressure is 35psi and max is 80psi? I stick to 40psi (I'm a 185-pound rider on roads and mild trails). Also, what does "55 shore A shoulder compound, 65 shore A center compound" mean?
As for the Specialized Pro Adrenaline's performance, used them for a few months pa lang so no real results yet. My only problem: each of the numerous studs has a small hole or slit on it and each time I ride I have to literally PICK small stones or sand stuck inside the holes. Sometimes 2-3 grains in a hole.
I also use SLiME tube sealant inside my Leo tubes but so far I haven't been spiked yet. Will post a thread on this "experiment" if I experience something.
