Hi Jessie! Atty. Montejo here. I see that your Merida Mission has taken you safely to a lot of places here in the Philippines, especially up north in Luzon. Same here for me in Leyte. Very dependable, faultless, flawless bicycle. Thank you for posting your pictures. Regards. Yes sir, indeed. Another Merida coming up by next year for my son!

It took me a lot of time climbing as I have a lot of picture taking stops. I have also stopped twice for food as I was craving for papaitan and "raning" and not to forget my "kuwentuhan" with the resto ladies. I started at 6:30 AM from Rosario and I was back at a Rosario restaurant by past 12:00 NN. I did it at a very enjoyable pace as I kept reserving my energy as I told to myself - I should not fail. I was experiencing cramps on my left thigh on the climbs after the Lion head but I kept on and that was my most frightening moment coz of vehicle traffic which makes my climbing space narrower. Best way to climb Baguio is to enjoy the scenery. Forget about the time, enjoy, we are not racing anyway...and I enjoy the descent so much...my body (heavy gat eh) will make me faster than anyone else without pedaling coz of my weight and aerodynamic positioning...sarap! I am supposed to do the reverse all the way to Villasis but archangel1911 (Dr. Ray Soriano) my dentist called me up while I was at the Lion head and would like me to come to his clinic to rush my false teeth and hence, he picked me up at Rosario and went with him to Urdaneta in his car and he brought me as well to Villasis afterwards...thanks to the Urdaneta City Cycling Club (Pres. Roy del Prado, Atty. Sonny Arboleda and colleagues) and to my newly found cycling buddies - Manong Winifredo Baguio (Tour of Luzon veteran), Mang Boy Arzadon and my tukayo - Jessie Garcia...I enjoyed your company guys! Thanks Tofi...I am fulfilled and I am gonna be back next year... sir jessie... that's ray soriano during the lungcaire ride....when we went up to baguio with our road bike we had chance to ride with the urdaneta cycling club....nice people. Yup sir, that's Dr. Soriano (second guy to the right) and he told me about your ride to Baguio as well...

wow jessie..you really enjoy your vacation. Lakay JR, a few months before my actual vacation I am already checking on PinoyMTBiker's scheduled rides and planning where to ride by myself. However, there are unexpected family activities and some personal commitments which sometime hamper my schedule but I make sure that I will have as much ride as I can...nothing compares to our motherland trails for so many reasons: 1.) I miss the places where I used to ride... 2.) I want to try new adventures... 3.) I am a nature lover... 4.) I am a natural food lover and the trails abound with so many restos and canteens even in remote areas... 5.) Friendly colleagues - all riders respect their fellow riders... Hope to ride with you in the future...
