Have one installed on my rig as well. Set it to run on 20mm sag... this is a recommended sag for VPP frames. The rebound need to be tweak a bit. Comparing with other shocks I dealt with this baby is nice and light. 3 propedal setting which on my rig is always left in the plushest setting (even during climbs hehe thats vpp).
I'm not doing any jumps and hops, tend to flow over and around em. ;D guess I need to abuse this shock a bit, if anything happens I still have the 5th as back up shock.
;D

This shock is a must for mountain Bikers light, easy to adjust you're like riding a hardtail uphill and very plush on rough terrain. No need to switch back to hardtail. My rig set up is Intense Tracer 2001.

the dhx 5.0 is unbelievably tuneable! almost everything can be set on the fly and everything adjusts as you expect it to. i don't have a bike that has the most advanced suspension technology behind it (swingarm) but when propedal is on full positive it feels just like my old hardtail ;D it feels plush and yes, bottomless on the downhills just an amazingly plush shock. its not heavy neither. this has been the lightest coil shock i've seen, could be even lighter with the ti spring on it. this shock gives you so much confidence to take on the bigger things. i actually can't wait for the next tagaytay ride (i used to hate going down on the hard tail). ;D fox really did their homework on this one guys

i used to have coil spring for my haro bikes, but i replaced it with the FOX DHX 5.O . Now it really rides very good both in road and extreme trails. smooth!

fox dhx 5.0 coil . . . drop it heavy! coil absorbs anything you put into it! going up or getting rough? rebound, propedal does the job! durability? cant say...but why hadnt it been phased out? most likely it is! weight? the lightest coil suspension in its class? hmmm... travel? 5 or 6 inch? up to now never heard or read that someone maxed it out...
ride smooooother...
