Anyone who's owned or experienced a DNM MM22-AR (coil with 4-5" travel) ? Mali ata decision ko to get one. Parang wala akong nararamdamang pagbabago kahit pihit-pihitin ko yung preload at rebound adjuster. Ganun pa din medyo matigas na ewan. Should have saved up for the DNM RC Burner (or Helix) with 6" travel. O iwasan ko na talaga dapat ang DNM altogether?

Storm - Si Trixxter DNM ang gamit sa downhill bike nya. You can PM him for his comments Pero baka kailangan lang ng break-in, bagong bili ba? Or it could be that the coil spring is too stiff for you Pwede yatang palitan ng mas malambot... Anyway, I have their air shock with lock out, ok naman at madaling i-adjust pati yun rebound.. but I thik they are more known for their coil shocks sa UK... see you brad

STORM, Pre, sorry for the late reply. The rear shock of my frame is a DNM BURNER (ST-12RC) with remote lockout(though I don't have the remote bar mounted lever but just a switch on the shock) and rebound adjust. The rear travel of my bike is between 5-8 inches depending on the position I mount the rear shock. I'm not an avid Downhiller so I set up the rear shockon the 6 inch position. I'm thinking could the source of your problem be the stock spring of your shock to feel the real difference? My spring is 650 LBS/IN (too soft for me). Was thinking of getting 750 LBS/IN (If I could find one) to make my ride stiffer.

off topic: dehins avid downhiller si trixxter pero grabe humataw sa pinugay ride yan kahapon. no ruts, no rocks, no steeps, no slows, no stops! an impostor, trixxter is a trick rider! it happened on pinugay's most steepest descent and trixxter tore it. pasensya na storm i had to hijack your thread, trixxter is not telling the whole truth here, hehehe

Maybe your spring is too stiff, or is not appropriate for your frame design? I have a MTB spring calculator on my site: www.baquiran.com/bike/mtbSpringCalc.htmlYou enter your weight, the bike's rear wheel travel, the shock's stroke length, and desired sag (as % change in shock length), and it will estimate a proper spring rate for your setup.

Thanks for the tips guys. Anyway medyo lumambot na rin yung spring (or preload) after riding and jumping the bike a few times. problem lang is the rebound, parang wala ako difference makita whatsoever. Trixter san ka nakabili ng RC burner mo and how much? (Btw nabili na pala yung chain guide mo. sayang. dehin ko man lang nakita khit sa pic)

I got the frame from TRIXX bike shop but a month ago, I saw a DNM burner in KAMIKAZE outdoor shop in ROBINSON'S EAST and selling them for PHP 2,500. Sorry I wasn't able to post the pics on time.
