i guess: Wilson - P Guevarra San Juan - cross Shaw Blvd - left 9 de Febrero - Mandaluyong Rotonda - Makati-Mandaluyong Bridge - Makati Ave - right Buendia - left Pasong Tamo all the way to southexpressway bridge - cross bridge to service road - service road all the way to Sucat

(risky jeepney drivers) or if you want via fort bonifacio (less car, clean air)..... just add up 1 - 3 kms.... go straight to EDSA then turn to guadalupe going to Fort Bonifacio..... exit Gate 3 going nichols.....

madame, isnt too dangerous too climb there? ;D omel, sir via bike ;D this is near nichols right? if i'm correct, it's not dangerous climbing that bridge. did that a number of times going to SLEX service road. just be careful of the jeeps and cars that go fast.

if you're going to SM sucat or casimiro i think it will be easier and safer to pass tramo/airport going to sucat road. follow the directions given above but instead of using the service road, which is really nasty because of the jeeps, go straight to villamor going to NAIA 3 then when u reach tramo go straight then left sa domestic airport road, which will take you to the mia road, left then right to sucat. IT will be faster than going around the SLEX service road.

this is where we pass when we go from ortigas area to sucat:
from ortigas/greenhills, go straight towards edsa all d way to lanuzza drive (its after the downhill part of ortigas before C5) turn right at lanuzza till u reach the end, which is C5. turn right C5, pass under the bridge then straight all the way till the end of the bridge (u can also take the bridge for added excitement) go straight till the road going to the fort (after kalayaan-C5 intersection) turn right on that road then go straight all the way till the stoplight beside pricesmart, turn left going towards mondo, mtv office, etc. go straight lagpas mckinley-forbes and take the road beside the libingan ng mga bayani go straght all the way. this will take you to the pasong-tamo/sales bridge above South super hiway. go straight to villamor going to NAIA 3 then when u reach tramo go straight then left sa domestic airport road, which will take you to the mia road, left then right to sucat.
this route is safe, dami pa downhill portions. the climbs are tolerable naman. only hard climbs are in the fort going to mckinley. haba kasi eh. at yung under the C5 bridge. pero kaya naman!

when you are in SLEX service road..... you can take shortcuts by entering merville going to moonwalk village.... from there you can choose your exit.... Multinational Village, Villanueva Village or Valley 1..... less car no crazy jeepney drivers

whoa, sta. mesa to tagaytay....hmm...no comment, you can always go to amari and listen to cyclists going to tagaytay then just be there when they meet, he he he. to baguio, well, take nagtahan towards UST, take gov. forbes past sm san lazaro. then take a left towards rizal ave. take rizal ave up to monumento, then ride towards the other end of monument till you hit mcarthur highway. just keep pedalling along mcarthur for about 230km, and you'll hit baguio just follow the victory liner buses in case you get lost in la union, he he he.

my uncle does it, but he's from baguio and he joins races. sooooo stamina and endurance is his for the taking. anyway he uses an mtb, it takes him 3 days from manila. he makes 2 stops, one in pampanga, then in pangasinan, then straight up to baguio. BTW, i don't think he does it in one day. two or three days, i think remember july 16 earthquake, he biked from baguio to tayug, pangasinan in 8 hours. don't know which road he took going down though anyway, it's 250 km from manila, so....in theory if you can maintain a good cadence and speed of 25kph, you'll be there in 10 hours. btw, if i remember correctly, marcos highway is around 28km. naguillan i think is longer but less punishing. kennon, well......it's 25km according to my friend, but you wouldn't catch me using that road on a bike, he he he. i'd walk it.....

If within metro manila I suggest buy a road map (national bookstore) of metro manila, plot your course befor your ride, where youre comming from, and going to, naka scale yon kung ilang km, so you will know if it is a short cut or a long cut hehe,
dapat updated yung map.
always go for "known" safe routes for bike, ask someone who is familiar, edsa, south super bawal tayo dyan, maharlika village taguig, paluin tayo ng tubo dyan, joke, etc etc.
ride in groups and also have a buddy to ride along with you.
if ganun talaga kalayo/dehins praktikal if you will bike it, i advise to commute, use car, for safety reasons,

sir logpond either take c5 going to makati or taking ortigas and pioneer st. going to boni avenue in mandaluyong then makati. I'm not quite familiar with the streets but maybe we can ride along and i'll take you there.

<:jun®:> : I'm not sure sir logpond, so far those are the only route I take when going to Makati then to Amari. I've decided not to take Edsa ever, I don't want my brains to get squashed by formula1 bus drivers. For me that's the safest/easiest way. Guys any other route you take on bike when going to Amari coming from Diliman?

I ride from Makati to Diliman via C5 and use the flyover option instead of going to marikina.. tagos nun Commonweath.. I also ride from Makati to Amari via The Fort, buendia flyover, derecho lang till dulo.. amari na yun. dont have my map with me right now so i cant say the exact streets

what's the best route from diliman to amari? how long is it? hmm....they way i'd do it would be, just take C5, take a right turn when you get to kalayaan, then just follow the straight road, then take a left at macapagal to amari. as for side streets, it just might be longer but, take quezon ave. then españa towards quiapo. then ride towards luneta to ccp. but you'll have a lot of jeeps to contend with on this route.
