its just a friendly reminder... if you cant avoid c5 try using its sidewalks coz recently we had 4 patients that had an accident in c5 they're from taytay, rizal goin' to p'que when suddenly they were rammed by a speeding car... it happened around 4-5am they told us c5 was their everyday route goin to their jobsite at p'que 3 patients suffered minor scratch and bruise... sadly the 4th patient didnt made it coz he suffered a fractured skull and massive bleed/hemorrhage in his brain... PLEASE BE CAREFUL RIDE SAFE!

Thanks for the tip. I'm planning to go to Guadalupe from Cainta via C-5. Will use the side walks as much as possible.

i think most of these guys are minimum or below minimum wage contruction workers that are trying to save on fare so they use bikes in going to work...unfortunately also, most of them dont wear helmets dahil sa kahirapan na rin siguro (priority?)..makes me sad when i hear stories like this.

i think the firefly brigade is doing something for the 'needy' bike commuters.... helmet, reflectors, etc... hoping it would push thru...... i do "bike to work" also and go home at night too... and some bike commuters i happen to see at that time without even helmets and relflectors, considering a compact disc for their reflector which is hanged under the seat..... for them,i know that it's an additional expense to buy a helmet... so hoping that the alitaptap brigade coud help them.....
