brad, get a patch kit and a saddle bag. i've had a few flats in the metro and nothing beats the frustration of not being able to ride anywhere because of a flat. it also takes about 10 minutes or less to fix a flat. if you carry a spare tube, you're done in about 5 minutes.

HOT!!! In any case, tried to bike today at 11 am to work... Uber hot nga.. you cant feel the heat so much because i bike with a sando on, but my head was sweating profusely... Read somewhere that when you wake up with a work out hangover, you're not drinking enuf water? looks like thats my problem... will up my water as my work goes up also... commute safe guys..

nice bike to work today... astig... a bit hot but manageable... no traffic... no belchers... nice... im a bit tired from yesterday but its good cause it forces me to stay within the low intensity range for base building and proper pacing... its nice to do your training when you're on your way to work because there's no bailout opportunity... hehehehehehehe

biked to work today & yesterday after not being able to do so for a couple of months. inspite of the usual road hassles, it felt really good to be back on the saddle again.

Biked to work yesterday and today. I'm house-sitting my in-laws house in Sumulong hway, Antipolo the whole week. And I work in Kapitolyo, Pasig! My 9 seater van gulps a liter of diesel every 7kms. I'm saving 300 pesos a day and gets to bike 50kms daily! ;D In a weeks time I've saved enough to buy my FSA Platinum Ti BB to pair with my FSA Carbon cranks. It's good motivation diba?

I drove QC to Alabang daily approximating 80km roundtrip. In all my driving hours im thinking about my bike (what to upgrade, next trail to hit, etc etc). Would that qualified as bike commuting? ;D
