as of 2214H,
15 hurt, including 3 solons, in Batasan blast
A solon's driver died while 15 other people, including three congressional representatives, were injured in the explosion at the Batasang Pambansa complex in Quezon City a little past 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Reports named Basilan Rep. Wahab Akbar, Gabriela Rep. Luz Ilagan and Negros Oriental Rep. Henry Teves as those who were injured in the blast which killed Melchor Talbo, driver of Rep. Ilagan.
The explosion happened near Ilagan's Lite-Ace van that was parked outside the building's south wing.
National Capital Region lespu Office chief Geary Barias said Talbo was found at the driver’s seat of Ilagan’s vehicle.
Gabriela party-list Rep. Liza Maza told dzMM they heard a loud explosion immediately after adjourned its session.
"Five minutes after (we adjourned), we heard a loud explosion. Noong sinilip namin may koste o sasakyan na umaapoy sa may south lobby. Pero nandoon din ang sasakyan ni [Congresswoman] Ilagan (When we checked out there was a vehicle burning near the south lobby. The van of Congresswoman Ilagan was also there),” said Maza.
The burning vehicle was later identified as Akbar’s Toyota Fortuner sport utility vehicle.
Investigators are yet to determine the origin of the explosion. Barias said that they have yet to receive information regarding any suspicious individual who may have planted the bomb before it went off.
“We’re looking into that now. We have not received any intelligence information regarding that matter. That’s too early,” Barias said.
But House Speaker Jose de Venecia said the blast could have been caused by "terroristic activities." In television interviews, De Venecia said the explosion wanted to threaten Congress. He added sesssion will resume Wednesday as scheduled, even as he condemned "the dastardly act."

I really do hope a quick and vivid investigation, with ACCURATE RESULTS do come out. Really fed up with run around, too early to speculate, people grandstanding, conducting own independent investigation team, this and that, etc.
Until eveRYthing is forgotten, and only the victims remain to suffer their loss.
REALLY HOPE AND HOPE ALL OF THEM PUT THEIR ACT TOGETHER.
WAKE UP CALL PLEASE!

where are the Zaidos when you really need 'em. tsk.
but seriously, i wouldn't be the least surprised if one smart-a$$ bozo dismisses this as another gas leak or something.
very sad times for the philippines.
expect: 1. madam arroyo visiting the wounded 2. sen trillanes coming up again with conspiracy theories, involving aliens and fairies. 3. opposition putting blame on GMA, as always 4. some dorky nonexistent terrorist group will admit to the bombing 5. GMA weeps publicly and orders a thorough investigatin while thinking to self: buti nga! 6. FBI, aussie investigators, and other foreign agencies will be asked to sniff around again...and when they make their pronouncements, PNP will follow suit and say: 'Yun din ang haka-haka namin e! 7. JDV and the rest of the crocodile farm will hold a session ASAP to prove they aren't in anyway affected...but in truth they are all scared sh*tless.
but then again, the games these pe0ple play are not anymore funny. why don't they just kill each other off instead of blowing things up, harming innocent civilians in the process. tsk tsk.

Just I suspected, I was not able to watch news now due to hectic sched, and still no result on the Glorietta explosion and yet here again, another incident at Batasan. I'm really fed up hearing this kind of same old story agin and again and again.......If this case will take a long investigation then, I don't expect any results anymore.

Rep. Wahab Akbar is a known as a ABu SAYYAf supporter in basilan
some ABu Sayyaf member claimed the responsibility in the batasan incident
But officals of Abu sayyaff said they have nothing against Rep. Wahab Akbar, supporter nga eh,
Military? hmmmmmmm, wrong they will use a sniper riffle, instead.
goverment? who knows? why kill the innocent,
Remember the assasination kuno, of Defense secretary now senator Enrile that lead to the declaration of Martial law, smells like it.
Saw this in the news,
No Phil Marines or representative attended Rep. Wahab Akbar's funeral today, remember the beheading incident, the Marines know.
They use a motorcycle to plant a bomb.
Also saw in cable last time, terrorist used bicycle, to assasinate a diplomat
the bicycle carirer bag was full of explosive, they just park it along the road and waited
for the diplomat's convoy.
What's next? pinoy likes to copy,
Let's wait for this one, coming soon:
"the first Filipino suicide bomber"

goverment? who knows? why kill the innocent, well, it pays to take the heat off the corruption scandals and show the filipinos that there is a bigger problem than corruption. It will pave the way for an anti terror bill that will cost millions of dollars and be diverted into pockets of very cunning statesmen. Hundreds of millions will be allocated but the military will only receive a few bullets and a few new guns. You know with erap, he racketeered from jueteng. I think he made more money from jueteng than from stealing. Its the government, in connivance with the CIA or NBI or whoever. This will never be resolved. Never! And hundred of millions will be profiteered from a useless bill made to wage against a mock war.
