I try to be aware of the site Im playing at + I practice some snapshooting and relfex shooting (no sighting but all muscle focus) = you ve got game if you do these
Been practicing these since my paintball days so airsoft was a natural progression (from expensive to value-for-money ! heheh)
Dont worry Marcs...we ll stick with playing with Eric + stick with the Team Charlie Cats (their tactics are really military tactics as their founder is a real general)
Im more of a mercenary in my playing style...its more relaxing for me that way. I get to preserve the limited amount of brain cells I have heheh

hey peeps... I'm glad I found this thread. I recently developed an interest in airsoft but quite honestly, i have not been able to join in any of the wargames. For the longest time, I only had the gun (JG M4 CQB v2) and would normally just fire it in my backyard This week, wifey passed by dau and bought me a US made digital acupat BDU so I kind'a realized that it's about time that I start this new hobby. After surfing at filairsoft site, I was shocked with the long list of things that I still needed and the total cost is actually equivalent to a Fuji 29er!!! Off hand, here's a list of items that I still need 1) Extra Magazines (2 sets?) 2) Elbow Pads & Knee pads 3) Face Mask 4) Vest 5) Shoes (so expensive!) 6) Gloves (can I use my 661?) 7) Helmet 8) Goggles How the hell can I pull this off??? Can anyone help me? Where do I get them for dirt cheap prizes? What are the bare essentials to get started? Oh lastly, is there a group that welcomes newbies? I'm really a scrooge when it comes to this hobby, as mtbiking is still my first love and I just bought a gwadamn new frame! hehehe Hope to hear from you guys soon!

How does one get into airsoft? I've been wanting to try this for the longest time. Can you give me the basics of this sport/hobby?
I see side walk vendors in Quiapo selling some of this stuff (gus, ammo, everything... I think). Are they any good? How much does a decent equipment cost? Are these CO2 or otherwise? How much for a basic starting kit?
TIA

guys help where can i find "falan/falant goggles" tnx............... Are they similar to those WileyX googles. They are smaller and streamlined compared to those goggles you see in blackhawk down right? Combatcamote and Sax from FAS are a couple of guys in who are into collecting/bringing in authentic stuff. They might be able to hook you up with those goggles. OT: Goggles fog up pretty bad in jungle settings. They also fog up real fast when you do a lot of running. Lahat na ata ng remedies (Fan, toothpaste, windex, and laway) nasubukan ko na pero ala pa rin. I ended up removing the lens of my ess goggles and replacing it with thick mesh.

get aegs' from hobbyshops or certified gunrunners.....
if you need accessories and gear try manang luming's quiapo.....
when buying upgrade parts buy from hobbyshops mas safe... baka kasi makabili ka ng spring ng lighter at spring ng kama pero tatak element! lol
practical lang....china brand JG, boyi,A&K or cyma...ok na... pagkabili mo laspagin mo till mag set ng 380fps.....hahaha...then buhos 3k agad upgrade level 1 para 450fps ulit......
next week upgrade ko na ito hehehe....sp120 setup lang...i dont like 9.6v it wears the guns faster... ROF is insane it takes away the realism..... 8.4v pa rin ako .... 2x2000mah! 48 hours ratatan basta naka C-mag! lol
you just need to hit em once ....... its not the pana its the indian.... lol

Yeah... at 450... bbs hardly push through thick foliage... there's nothing wrong having a 500+ fps AEG in the field... Just be responsible (although others are not)... Cuz I've been there, done that... Even played with 600+ fps peeps... Kakatakot!!!! hehehe!!! ;D
