yes it's S&W! now sayang naman if I can't verify if it's "hot" or not. Well? Get the serial number and ask a gun store to verify the ownership/status of said firearm (they'll do it for a fee). There's rumor of another amnesty program wherein registration of loose firearms will be allowed within the year, provided they have no record.

there is this guy named elmer keith who shoots serious distances using a pistol..often hear his name from my old man...baka patay na ito hehe!...kung 50m lang boy i think youre in serious trouble with this guy...think he pioneered handgun hunting and silhouette...he favors big calibers though. since i used to hunt also...yep i'm more of a rifleman myself than a pistolero...i learned to shoot using my dad's winchester mod. 75 ..in .22LR...almost bought my dream rifle last time that i went to a gunshow...sako finnfire with bull barrel..actually already bought a scope for it...but some nice guy suddenly cancelled all ptc's and hunting permits...am a law abiding citizen so i eventually lost interest.

Tolits, what do you hunt with those guns? Used to hunt and trap also during my younger days when I was living in Mindanao. But we use .22 caliber airguns only. The game ranges from wild doves to monitor lizards/pythons, though the latter needs 5 leads on the heads just to keep it still. But I'm much better in traps than in shooting. From where I was raised, rifles was easy to come by, without the of those so called permits. Guess my old man dont see the need of them even if we live quite far from the city (Cotabato). since i used to hunt also...yep i'm more of a rifleman myself than a pistolero...i learned to shoot using my dad's winchester mod. 75 ..in .22LR...almost bought my dream rifle last time that i went to a gunshow...sako finnfire with bull barrel..actually already bought a scope for it...but some nice guy suddenly cancelled all ptc's and hunting permits...am a law abiding citizen so i eventually lost interest.

butch, mostly wild pigeons (bato-bato) of various kinds from kurukutok (smallest)to batobatong sili (largest)...balud i guess was already very rare in bulacan area even then..tikling, tariktik (specie of hornbill)...sometimes we also go fishing with it...mostly dalag and tilapia...yup we use airguns too from the pump type to CO2...bag my first game with .22 "de bomba" when i was grade 1 yata..shot me a musang and a monkey with an airgun too...yung monkey sa kapitbahay hehe! nakawala then it started raiding neigbors kitchens and chicken nests..never had a chance to shoot wild monkey pa. ;D ganun parin naman sa probinsya...as long as you know the landowner no problem and you just limit yourself to his property or kilala mo si cap...but sometimes when we are using "live" we walk for half a day to get to hunting area...minsan di mo na kilala mga tao..minsan may sisigaw sayo (i really hate that).. it wud really help if you hav proper docs to show...kahit saang bundok yata may tao na.

Rifles are a little more expensive but they are cheaper to practice w/ ( sabi lang sakin , I dont know anything bout rifles ) Pistols , you need shoot a whole lot more Master A, I think if you're shooting silhouette and PPC style comps, matipid magpractice. Mura lang .22LR e, and you don't shoot as much. Kung IPSC, medyo mahal, cheapest 5.56 ammo I got recently is P12 ea (range ammo pa). It usually costs P20 at authorized gun stores. I've only practiced with rifles and have yet to join a match. (the PNP has stopped issuing permits for HP rifle comps since the FG cup in Guimaras.) It's really fun to shoot IPSC comps specially there in Southern Tagalog, the boards are all close together and are very near. Hehe! ;D Tolits, Sayang yun Sako mo. Why don't you get membership at Armscor so you can at least practice your marksmanship. Only other accredited rifle range by PNP-FED are PNPA and the Phil Marines range ar Ft Bonifacio. Permits to Transport Firearms for .22 rifles are still issued. Us high power rifle users are the ones who can't play with our toys. Don, I'll pass by on Sat nalang. Haven't sorted my stuff out yet since moving in. Ride and shoot safe guys!

Hehe! ;D hehe some of my friends who are the top ipsc rifle shooters ( b4 the ban wanted me to switch to rifle Because bagay daw sa kuripot hehe puro dryfire and 50rnds lang practice when they get to the range you should really try competing sa visayas the cebuanos and leytenos know how to put up a difficult match 4-5 15m movers that move so fast you'd have to pull the trigger before they appear hehe

A-bolt, i think that's a name of a gun manufacturer too hehe! nashe used to offer sako finnfire (varmint) at 26k only...then the next time i enquired 40k+ na...i wonder how much it will cost now...my uncle has an anshutz (1475? forgot ) the target model but he replaced the stock with a customed one for hunting..pretty accurate rifle. SMB, no problem with target shooting...i can do that anytime in our small property in bulacan...you know how .22 the target load sounds...parang airgun lang yan...a lot less with sound suppressor...thats the load we often use even for hunting...but i dont enjoy it as much as hunting...and i bike now hehe! for the meantime eto muna.

can i join a gun club at 14? pwede yata but you obviously will not be allowed to own a gun. adult supervision will be required. (a senior range assistant would be needed too just to make sure all goes well.) good luck.
