The thing with Smart is, they're quick and eager to take in clients and install connections. They will never tell you whether your location has a good orientation with the transmitter or not. How do I know then?
With regard to your slow (intermittent?) connection, are you sure it's your location/orientation? If it was fast just the other day and slow today, and if you didn't move your antenna, then orientation might not be the problem. Am I making sense?

Bruce, they'run tests which will show you % of signal. The higher the better. Having a good signal though doesnt mean you'll get a good connection...this depends the nummber of users that transmitter homes to. I didnt move d antenna coz its fixed...maybe since Friday the Internet traffic was high in volume. I'm getting 99kbps here So are you getting the brad.?

DEMET!!! I already did! It's either I settle for Smart brad or no connection at all. I'm done with PLDT's MyDSL! If it weren't bundled with their voice service, it would have been great.
Globe can't enter Eastwood's condos... bummer...

Globe is offering a 3G phone with internet at P995/month. Uses a corded phone wired to a wireless tranceiver (the size of a regular phone). That means I have to lug 2 units to use the phone everyday. The internet connection is set at 384Kbps? I think. Lock in period is 1 year. Deposit of P500. First 3 months free subscription, pay only the remaining 9 months. P500 deposit applicable on 4th month payment. Good deal is this? Btw, another phone is wireless but using CSMA/CD system. Internet is slower. Comments, advice, tips!!! I'm itching to get a better connection than a dial-up!
