Excellent documentary Rock! More...more...more!!! Thank you nikonographer. I will give you more. Check this one out. 9.55 km SE Tsukiji's Outer Market See those small stalls where freshest sushi eateries can be had for cheapo price? That is located right at the footsteps of Tsukiji central fish market where 2246 tonnes of fish, worth over US$15.5 million, are sold daily. You bet I won't miss long held tradition here of having sushi breakfast. I haven't had breakfast yet. I need to carboload after cycling 10 kms. Sushi at Tsukiji tastes so fresh, I can almost taste seawater still lurking from within. The aroma is similar to the tide as it ebbs and flows. The energy it gives is as mighty as the deep angry sea. Undoubtedly, Tsukiji sushi should be the first choice on PinoyMTBiker's list of carboloading menu. 12. 55 km SW On the way to Toyosu Pier which is 3rd destination of Tokyo Cycle Tours, Dutch Luxury Love Boat is docked at Harumi Passenger Ferry Terminal. 13.23 km SW Oh my. Big Game Fishing and Marlin. My concept of a lifestyle. Not to be ignored is Silver Trekkie (the mountain bike) of course. 13.51 km SW View at Toyosu Pier. Fitting tribute to double order of Tsukiji sushi bowl I carry in my tummy. Burp. Geez. That reeks like the sea.

Excellent documentary Rock! More...more...more!!! 17.57 km SE 4th station is Tsukuda Jima. 18.35 km NE Tokyo Cycle Tours prescribed a route towards Asakusa from Tsukuda Jima I didn't follow. I used the river course instead to go north up to Asakusa. River route starts here. 19.06 km NE Much much preferable to bike upstream along the river than inner city lanes. From where I snapped last shot, I looked up and these twin towers hovered above us. Too much of tall edifices in Tokyo. Too much. 21.86 km NE Flower beds often line up the river route. 23.22 km NE After cycling 5 kms upstream, fresh clean breeze of the river has charged me up to the point that everything I see glows. I am high on happiness.

Excellent documentary Rock! More...more...more!!! After travelling north east, I have to change direction and go west now to reach Asakusa's Euno Park (5th destination). 27.00 km W Your guess is right. I am out to carboload on sushi again. 29.63 km W Asakusa. Ueno Park particularly. Gee. I am fond of military legends... you've noticed? Not as fresh and as yummy as sushi at Tsukiji. But it will do. Silver trekkie still at Asakusa's Ueno Park. Wow! Silver trekkie ablaze. From Asakuza, next destination is British Embassy. On the way to British embassy, Silver trekkie passed by Imperial Palace again. 35.70 km SW Not all military greats naman. I also admire nobility. Sigh. I wish my lolo lived here. 37.42 km S British Embassy. 6th Tokyo Cycle tour destination. 39.17 km W Sophia University. 7th Tokyo cycle tour destination. Aura of students here is similar to Ateneo. Not surprizing though. Sophia University is under tutelage of Jesuits. 39.70 km NW Akasaka Palace. 8th tokyo cycle destination Asakasa Palace is under repair. Silver trekkie was content going around outside its perimeter wall. 41.71 km SW Junguu Ginko Path. 9th tokyo cycle tour destination Silver trekkie can't enter Junguu Ginko Path either. I have enough touring Tokyo Cycle course at this point. I elected to go back to the crib na. 43.67 km NW Home at last. Advantage of following Tokyo Cycle route (Asakusa-Junguu Ginko Path) is it covers best of Central Tokyo's sightseeing favorites. It takes one day to tour the course. Reason why I covered 8 destinations only when there are 13 to complete is I took my time sightseeing.

Papa Rocks, can you send me pics of school girls in skirts? PLEASE??? You talaga BrusKi. I will report you to your commander...hala ka! Cge. Cge. I won't be a prude and a killjoy. This is for you and Xctofi and all Balbons of PinoyMTBiker. Don't censor this...huh. 25.70 km W Don't remove finkie gloves...BrusKi. Don't smell also. It whiffs of the aroma of Tsukiji fresh and raw fish 29.96 km W Don't you dare remove peenky gloves...Xctofi. Or else...PinoyMTBiker forum will become pornography.

so where is fafarocks, is he here in manila now? when is the welcome ride/ ;D Sir Arci, I arrived NAIA 2230 last night. But the problem is I gained weight like Konishiki (sumo wrestler) with all the yummy carboloading I did while touring silver trekkie around Tokyo. I will lie low muna from joining PinoyMTBiker trail rides. I am too heavy. I won't be able to keep up with your so called newbie rides anymore. Case in point - Newbie ride on May 1, 2008 (Labor Day) when more than 100 PinoyMTBiker riders, both veterans and newbies, became one! Mama Mia. If this qualifies newbie ride nowadays, PinoyMTBiker has grown way beyond my league already. I will go back to where I started and be content doing rounds of PeYups Ikot-Ikot for the meantime I am losing 15-20 lbs.

Cge PMTBerks. Let us trim down the fats ... same old ways.
But really. Take it very easy with me. I am Not a spring chicken anymore. Every kilometer or so, I need to dismount, catch my breath, and bring down my BP to normalcy.
This backward march is precipitated by biking easy-easy in Tokyo's too tame of smoothest bike lanes (1), and (2) by carrying 20 lbs extra fats.

Sir Rocky, Doesn't your Mojo miss you by now or the other way around? Thanks for this excellent post. Gosh docped, I took out Ibis Mojo for 20 km spin around the village early this morning. Ride difference between hardtail silver Trekkie and FulSus All Trail Ibis Mojo is that of night and day. And you wouldn't notice how good Ibis Mojo rides until you set her aside for 5 weeks and be contented riding hardtail. But once you mount Ibis Mojo again, the smile she gave you first few weeks you rode her will return and even get wider ear to ear. Grabe talaga ride quality and performance of Ibis Mojo. It is by far the best bike I have ever ridden. Happy...Happy...too Happy that I acquired one.
