This has made my day. He joins the ranks of Joe Satriani, Eric Claption and Tommy Emmanuel on my greatest list. Huwaw!

Boy oh boy, I almost shed a tear while listening to it. It is so beautiful. And his guitar skill is superb. How I wish I could also play my guitar like that. "It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do I bless the rains down in Africa Gonna take some time to do the things we never had........" Thanks joey for sharing.

This has made my day. He joins the ranks of Joe Satriani, Eric Claption and Tommy Emmanuel on my greatest list. Huwaw! He's really good but I dont think that he could be leveled with clapton and satriani...he is a classical artist man...and still I dont think you have heard Joe "Such Boogie" Satriani played unplugged... by thw way...less the timing...look at this young ladd...he's really cool...

The guitar doesn't care about musical styles. Being good on the guitar is being able to harness its potential. Innovativeness is one major factor. Bringing out the music in a guitar is like converting potential to kinetic energy. It was there all along. These artists bring that energy out. Mediocre artists waste some of that energy.
Sure, these artists can't be compared with each other. You can't even compare Clapton with Satriani. They'd probably flip out.But the thing is, we're not comparing them, we're just saying they're really good.
And yes, I can say they're on the same level: being able to get sensational music out of a guitar.
Add to the list: Andres Segovia. Now that's a classical guitar virtuoso! Give classical music and other guitar genres a try. You'll be surprised at how complex it can be and give Satriani and Clapton a run for their money. I'm a rocker at heart, but I don't limit myself, life's too short. ;D

I can say JS is good because I have seen him play almost on every challenge critics throw him... I try to followed his life and his works...by the way sir if you could listen to Malsmteen's pieces... It's good but the problem is the it's more of a classical piece...the real definition of of his sound artistry is kinda warp into some redundant scale unlike Mozart playing on his grand pinao... Andres Segovia...I haven't heard him played with a rig of like wat JS use...but JS also plays classical, etc...powered rig or not...he can make the saddest note heard to be sweet.
Indeed life is really short sir...I lay low thy heads to thee
But still they stand on two different ends of this so called genre/genra...
Your a rocker at heart...lets drink to that....hope to share my library to you...vise versa
Once, music has fed a part of our family...notes, bars, scales, modes...became our expression.

and one thing... if a gutiar doesnt't care about musical styles... how come there is... a Classical... an Acoustic... and Electric...
as like what we do... mountainbikers have... Cross Country bikes... Down Hill bikes... Urban Riding... Free Ride... Comfort bikes... in which all are ment to be ridden by riders as guitars to be played by it's players...
because a single spec cannot perform all set-up or modes... just like a classical guitar with a whammy bar would sound like S---because it is not intended to have one.
Hope you get my point sir... tnx for the discussion... it somehow lubed my rusty gears at my nutshells... PEACE OUT! ! ! Music to cometh as one...and not to divide... and then together we ride!!!
