was stuck at home this weekend, so watched more TV than usual. caught george clooney on oprah, and he was asked why he chose Italy as a second home.
he said well, aside from the 2.5 hour lunches (Italians love their meal times), he said he was looking out the window one day and saw construction workers walking home. they looked like any other construction workers elsewhere--their shirts off, yellow hard hats on, exhausted. yet in one arm they carried a loaf of bread and a bottle of wine, and in another arm they were clutching flowers.
george clooney, million-dollar hollywood celebrity and one of the sexiest men alive, was struck by the scene. he marvelled at how Italians "celebrate their lives better."
and the profound thought that went through my head? ang guapo ni george clooney. ;D

George Clooney loses beloved pet pig
Agence France-Presse Last updated 07:38am (Mla time) 12/05/2006
LOS ANGELES -- US actor George Clooney, People magazine's sexiest man in 2006, has lost his dear pet pig of 18 years, Max, celebrity newsite TMZ.com said Monday.
Max, who died Friday, had suffered from arthritis and partial blindness.
The 45-year-old star and producer of "Good Night and Good Luck" often said that Max had been his longest-lasting relationship.
Clooney and Max hooked up after he broke up with actress Kelly Preston, and in 2001 it was accidentally run over by a friend of Clooney's.
Max was the second pet Clooney lost this year after a bulldog died at his house.

Casino Royal... very Ian Fleming. No more chauvinistic Bond. Great action. I like the way they used Free-running as part of the chase sequence. I bet Brosnan couldn't do a fraction of that. Overall, It was the greatest Bond I've seen. I used to be embarrassed to wear 007 promo caps, T-shirts and watches that my wife gives me. I'm gonna wear Casino Royal tomorrow... if only I could find the watch.

if you're as clueless as i could be, checkout www.thesuperficial.com . work safe. we should have more of these sites for our local celebrities. we could only make fun of our favorite dumb personalities so much without pictures. yes, i'm talking about you tim yap!

- why am i even famous?- our very own version of paris hilton, minus the sex tape and the upskirts. tim yap has been at the forefront of the soshalero parties of our generation. i'm reminded of how ironic this celebrity of sorts is when in one interview he attempts to break bread with the common pinoy. he said "you don't have to spend alot of money to party." right. so my cheap public commuting, tiangge buying, turu-turo eating ARSE can rub elbows with the elite? why not!
