Here's a graphical view of what we went through last saturday riding up to the Palace in Tagaytay. Mini Legend of the graph:On the bottom horizontal axis is the distance traveled in Kilometers (Conversion is on the bottom) On the right vertical axis inside the box is the altitude in feet (The shape of the mountain on the graph) On the right vertical axis outside the box is speed in Miles per hour with the conversion on the bottom of the page. (The blue zigzag lines that look like heart beats) On the left vertical axis is the heart rate throughout the entire ride in bpm (red lines in the back ground of the graph - Follow the intensity markers)

The max grade we did was 18% or 10 degrees. Am still trying to learn the other things we can get out of this software...... Kinda cool

I separated the graphs into individual views. The first shows altitude with respect to the total distance we travelled (51.9km) The second shows speed (in MPH. Just convert to kmh) vs total distance The Third shows heart rate vs total distance.

Hey Gar, Crazy heavy by the time we got to the last part of the climb but AMAZING on the way down. Next time I do reverse palace on the 29er, I'll make sure to change gearing from 34x18 to 34x19. Or I could just try to lose a few pounds before heading up there again......

Checking the Heart Rate... hmmmm... above 180bpm this is heart attack.... now I know the importance of Heart rate monitor... Cheers guys! Y'all my idols!!!! ... this is normal sir just to share, i recently had a stress test last week (the test will require you to walk and run at the last stages, there were 7 @ 3 mins / stage... you start slow then faster as you go higher with different grades... its a treadmill test) according to the doctor, its normal for the human heart to have a bp of 200 / 80 (systolic / diastolic)... when your fully stressed
