When I come home in May, I'm thinking of leaving this bike there as my PISSer bike (so I don't have to lug a bike home every year). I'm also bringing a roadie to keep at home full time... Actually, this will be more like a PIDSer... I just built it up again yesterday since I've had to shuffle forks around for the new Yeti build (SJ's Zanotti SS got a black SID, the Magura fork that was on her Zanotti got put on this bike, and the silver Reba on this bike is slated for the Yeti)... Most of you guys probably remember this bike from my visit this past Feb... I got her cheap at a local bike swap ($250 with a CK headset!)... The gearing is 32X20 and 36X16 using the ghetto eno axle....hehe... Chainline is almost straight (good enough for government work however). 36T chainring is a Surly Stainless Steel and the chainring bolts are all steel...

nice! chromo? is that a fixie i see in the background? It's a Ti Ionic frame (Ionic is a local Boise company). The bike in the background is a Serotta track bike. I've ridden a fixie before and it's hard so I want to build up a fixie with a front brake before I try a full on track bike...hehe...

Nice Bike sir!!! You gave me a good idea what to do with my ss sir. Because sometimes I ride it on the road so I have to use a much heavier gear. Cheers sir!!!

If you're going to be running it with a tensioner (assuming you're not using horizontal drops, sliding drops, ENO or EBB's), try to get the total number of chainring and cog teeth the same for minimal chain growth. For example, mine is a 32X20 (52T total) and 36X16 (52T total).... Have fun, it's the best way if you ride to and from the trails. In my case, from Marikina to Maarat and back...

THANK YOU VERY MUCH BOSSING!!!!! I will now try to go SABAK to get a Surly 15t cog then the Crank is 36t (51t) because I am using 32x19 now for the trails with tensioner(surly Singleator). I spin to much on the road using 32x19. Again, thank you for the great Idea...
