Finally I had a time to upload and share our Road Trip last Lenten season which We called “ Camp, Bike, Dive in Pagudpod 08”. We left our crib at exactly 1:00am March 20, 2008 and take back road to Bocaue exit. After 18 hours of driving, My GPS registered 633 km away from our crib (off course stop over and side trips are included) Since it’s a Lenten season and we knew that most of the beaches are jam-packed, We decided to booked our adventure in Panzian Beach Resort in Brgy, Panzian, which is 16 kms away from Pagudpod Main Beach. 1st thing in our Itinerary Bike to Kabigan Falls. There’ (My wifey) decided to bike along from Panzzian Beach Resort to Kabigan Fall Jump off. While me and my 2 princesses drove 8 km to jump off point. There’ grinding Patapat Viaduct Dad its hard to bike alone! Migs excited pedaling off to Kabigan Falls followed by her Ate Mianne and at the back is my wifey half wasted Rolling in the rice field rest? It is only 5 minutes when we started! common hurry up, cant wait to see the falls! 1st river crossing we encountered. off course poser daddy! 2nd river crossing Finally we reached Kabigan Falls. Family pixs at the falls. 3rd river crossing, Mommy There, taking splash! Bitin sa falls! Remembrance Pixs in the rice field Dad how do I look? Is this the way to plant rice Dad? After our short trip to Kabigan Falls, we headed down to beach, Waves are so tall and strong so we looked for a much safer place to dip. My 2 Princesses enjoying so much waves are getting stronger so we need to inflate the boat if ever. On our 2nd day our itinerary is to bike from Panzian Beach to Adams town, where we can find hanging bridges, waterfalls and Adams exotic foods. trail going to Adams is purely14km fire roads with lot of uphill. weather is not cooperating , its very very hot and I’m not conditioned to bike, we had a lot of rest stop (as usual) me grinding and grinding! OMG another uphill! And we are only half way! anyway, we just pedal and pedal until we reached…… the hanging bridge. We decided to abort the ride and ask our SAG to load our bikes and ride with this………… atleast 2 wheels pa din! Upon reaching Adams, we were so hungry….fortunately our food is cooked already our appetizer, FRIED ANT EGGS our Salad, Banana Heart soaked in Sukang Iloko (Native Vinegar) our main course, Deep Fried eel and frog. Native Prawn (not a cultured one, direct from the river) It is matched with native brown rice which is only grow in the mountain off course with ice chilled red wine “ Adams Bugnay Wine” My daughters didn’t knew that they are eating fried frog and eel. Sarap to the bone! After our trip to Adam, again we take a dip. Beachfront of Panzian come on dad you can do it, just focus and play with the waves nyaaaaa! I was eaten by the waves ;D 2nd try….feeling surfer! our campsite are we going home? Last photo at Panzian Beach and Mountain resort Thanks for viewing!

Native called it "HANTIK" big red ants. I tried it one teaspoon, its like you are eating crispy corned beef but with sweet & sour taste. Eel its like an ordinary catfish (Hito) then yung frog, tastes like chicken, I mean rooster pla...ang kunat! ;D

Simply the best way to enjoy...with your family. Yes Doc, whenever I have time I see to it that I spend quality time with them, especially with the kids because when they become teenager, they will have their own life na, We will be having hard time to be with them di ba? That's what I have missed. I left my children to work in Dubai when they were in elementary and early high school. I have only seen them last year when they're already in college and very busy with their studies. I missed those days when we play together and even climb trees together and eat mangoes, santol, chicko on top of the trees. Now, they have their girlfriends and "barkadas" and bonding time is only when we are in the house cooking and eating and watching tv or when we go for an outing or malls but it is very different when they were still kids. Until today, whenever I see toys and tempted to buy it, my wife will remind me that our children are already grown up...now I am coming home again this summer to attend to the graduation of my only girl from college - BS Nursing. And next year, my son will also graduate - BS Nursing also and three years after, my other son will also graduate - Engineering (Instrumentation). All these occasions, I will make sure we have enough happy time together as a family. brad. certainly your adventure touches me a lot!
