3:30 we are getting ready to go. I am in Bike2006 house
Alain and I were preparing to go
We meet Gadget88 at Masangkay Metro at around 4:20 am that time I am puyat. Don't get to sleep last night because I cannot sleep. Too excited to go to Maarat for the 4th time. Well that will be Norco Mountaineer XX last ride with Harry and it will be the Mountaineer last trail ride before its retirement. We wait for Denise at Harry's place in Remegio. When he arrive we pack the bike to the van and start leaving going to Timberland. We got traffic in Cubao. And at around 5:30 we reach Tina's
The morning has broken like the first morning. A beautiful scene of the morning emerge as we un pack our bikes and ready to ride
I rock the joint with some warm up rides and a few drift with Norco.
Checking our equipments and prepare to hit the road
Ok I don't want to go long with this story, since a photos speak a thousand words, here are the some of the photos we took during the ride
I will just let the guys explain to you each of these photos during the forum
Thanks for sharing charlie_b_barkin_Vista. I am starting to miss Maarat summer ride just by viewing your shots. Sun was sure glaring and scorching. Must be hot for you to take off your t-shirt. Philippine summer spells fun...Fun...FUN.
Not that I am partial to riders wearing PinoyMTBiker jerseys. But ...ohlala... PinoyMTBiking jerseys look so maporma (GQ). More so if they are worn fresh and new from edleedesigns.
we are proud to be the first to wear the new black PinoyMTBiker jerseys in the trails, actually saw wandie at Tinas wearing his jersey too, nice fabric perfect, nice fit and the best of all the design. :-) the jersey kinda encourages you to bike stronger too hehe theres magic to it! :-)
yeah and even though those guards @ Timberland shooed me off because I dont have an ID to show! I just only brought my ATM and my health card, too sad i forgot it! and by the way the jersey make us stronger on the trails and makes us proud in our interest which is MTBiking, and it got soiled earlier because we did the river crossing and quarry ride in Wawa via Puray with sir tolitz with 43bikes members Jojo and Jeff. nice shots mike!

thanks a lot guys for accomodating me. These guys are great to be with. Lots of laughter and friedship. Thanks for the tube. Harry, goodluck on your new life in Dubai. Im sure you can't wait to explore the trails there. Hope to ride with you guys again soon.
Thanks to Cocoy for treating us lunch at giant. It's supposed to be Harry's treat! ;D
Thanks to Dhenzo for driving us to Maarat. Alain and Charlie for the great company!
This was the most grueling bike in my life! Not getting enough sleep for 2 weeks is a poor way to prepare for Maarat, I tell ya!
Except for Charlie who climbed Maarat easily with no sleep at all!
Dont do that kids! Stay away from drugs! ;D
