I don't know if the reason of riding fast and strong is the bike or it's only a "new bike syndrome"... ;D ;D ;D go ahead padi, built your 575... Here is the shots of the bikes from our yesterday ride.... taken with my old phone cam that's why the quality is not that good. Sir Bong..you got one nice rig there..beauty!!! noticed you're using a Mavic Crossmax SLR wheelset..haven't you experienced anything wrong with it? Mine is just about 3 months old but I already noticed a ticking sound from the rear wheel. Seems the spokes are grinding at the contact point near the hubs..so sad..the set is quiet pricey...

make sure your wheelset is tensioned properly (about a 10 minute job at a bike shop with the right spokewrench, tension meter and bladed spoke tool). It should fix your problem right away...

Flipinidaho is right, better have your wheels check by a qualified mechanic/wheel meister.

Many thanks brad..I purposely did not want any mechanic to touch the wheelset yet since I wanted and hopeful mavic will do something about it. My friend got same wheel set too and we experienced the same problem. Gave my receipt to the authorized distributor here in RP and is still waiting for their response. Mine kasi is just 3 months old..whew!! very pricey pa naman...huhuhu...

Yes, I'm using a XmaxXL. Sorry for the lousy photos, I just used my old mobile phone.
The first gen Xmax is also black, this is release 2003, but there is no indication if it's SL or XL. after that, the black WS is only the XL. Then the black SL is released recently but the name is changed to SLR... same of SL but only the color and price is different...
The waranty of the wheelset covers the quality defects of the parts. But for this kind of loose or rubbing parts, if not visible or proven that is a defect made in the factory, the bike mechanics in the LBS can do the job...
Anyway, please update us for the result of your claim...
