where's the rest shawee? ;D very newbie with photography our Shawee ;D She didnt get the overall picture of the Charity run. How big is the congregation? Who are participating? What are allowed to do? The whole program? and who will benefit from this run. She was so busy and intoxicated with the number of people running, walking, cycling, rollerblading and even showboating. Or maybe she was just enthralled with the number of beautiful people around ;D or the music playing on the PA system. ;D But I give her an E for effort and dragging herself out of bed on a weedend morning to shoot em charity participants. There will be next time or year. Thanks for sharing Ate Shawee.

Wow, I was'nt there he he he sorry guys...we went to the mountains...happy faces all over...
Thousands joined the annual Terry Fox run...not only Filipinos but all nationalities for a cause. I think this will benefit the cancer victims? They can run, walk, skateboard, bike or anything under the sun! Terry Fox run is also held in Abu Dhabi a week earlier.
Auntie Sharon, thanks for sharing the pics.

Bong,
There were so many corporate sponsorship and plegdes, reach hundreds of thousands of Dirhams.
Even single participants or non corporate people chipped in a few Dirhams and others gave their products the likes of dairy products, juice, water and foodstuff to support the participants.
But some are missing the whole point, they go around showboating, though they add up to the number, and even littering or just to get freebies.
Some are so serious they ran the 10km loop. Something to look back or to reflect what thios Terry Fox went through. It was fun walking and seeing old friends who support this charity.

Jenner, I don't remember if we have this kind of race in Dongguan... Maybe in Beijing or Shanghai... this is the two major cities in China that always held this kind of race for a cause.
Thank Enzo, I already imagine how the race events goes... I did not experience this kind of race though but If there will be a race like this near my place. For sure, I will also join....
