They asked for it ... we had to give it After 2000 hits on the MTB mini clinic thread we started with my friend Jomari aka Shuzz ... the clamor was for one more MTB Skills : Hop, Bank/Rail, Drop and Jump Clinic IIwe needed 10 to come ...15 came Coach Eboy Farr in Philippine Team colors (blue / white / red) and Bonggie Buenaseda (with our very own Paolo Tan) have the gift of bike gab OLD: our skilled bikemates (there are many) dont know enough to teach what they do. Sometimes its a lack of verbal clarity or a lack of organized thought I was thinking : why dont we have serious and focused teaching sessions handled by professional riders who are chosen for their gift of teaching/mentoring And we wanted their undivided attention ...for our own security, and learning We tried to give that to all who participated Program : 2nd Mini Clinic on HOP, BANK/RAIL, DROP and JUMP Fundamentals in Mountain BikingGuidance by : Philippine DH Team Coach Eboy Farr and DH Pro Bonggie Buenaseda Special Guest Teacher: DH Pro Paolo Tan, PinoyMTBiker Pro DH rider Organized by : Arnel Andal May 6, 2006 8 am to 11:30am at the old San Mig Light Track, Divine Mercy, Maarat. with consent from land owners and publishers of MMSB ; limited medical support “Ride at your own risk” conditions apply PROGRAM I. Opening Remarks II. Bike and Safety Talk by Coach Eboy Farr o Personal Health and Eating Habits o Know your Bike o Safety Gear III. Exercise and Stretching Techniques IV. Bike Techniques Demo by Eboy Farr, Paolo Tan and Bonggie Buenaseda V. HOP Session • Bunny Hop / J-Hop Techniques VI. Trail Reading and Race Preparation VII. BANK / Rail Session VIII. DROP Session • 1-2 ft. Beginners • 3-4 ft Intermediate IX. JUMP Session • 1-2 ft. Beginners • 3 ft Intermediate X. CONSULTATIONS with the PROS XI. End of Program by A. Andal

just a suggestion sir, the batasan track is a perfect place to learn the basic of freeride. they got table tops that are safer for the newbies, berms, drops and other more obstacle to take on.

Hiya Randahl , yup . Coach and I talked about that location ... a very good site for future clinics. I ll have to add P50 to the clinic fee though ... might not be a welcome increase but we ll see. maybe I can negotiate a group discount with you With the limited real estate at the old San Mig Track : we were able to have a short technical line ...Bunnyhop + 2 ft drop + stepup jump + low jump + 3ft drop + high stepup jump + berm rail We had to shorten the "combo meal" course due to exhaustion and heat . It was down to : low jump + 3ft drop + high stepup + Berm Rail na lang Thanks ya'll More pics to come!
