I don't want to miss this event without a souvenier.

it's very hard to schedule a (newbie) ride, what with the scorching summer heat. anyways...... on sunday, may 6, there is the all terra-men's health XC race at timberland and the hop-bank-drop-jump clinic at the divine mercy tracks (across aling tina's), so on sunday all roads lead to maarat, for newbies this will be a good chance (if you haven't done yet) to do the wall before going to either event (before 7am siguro). the next sunday, may 13, there are talks of riding to Dona Remedios Trinidad (DRT) to the Puning Cave Trails (see related posts sa event gallery yata), this seems to be a loooooong road trip via commonwealth ave., quirino ave. then bulacan, anybody who happens to enjoy long road sufferfest with the reward of spelunking, perhaps we can organize this ride other possible newbie rides are maarat-giant loop or the road trip to bugarin. let's see what we can organize

i can coordinate the DRT puning cave ride with ka berns and whoopi's group, but i believe we have to meet @0500 and take-off 0530 @sandiganbayan to avoid the scorching heat of the summer sun as well as be home before sundown. anybody interested please give a holler @ka berns / whoopi : can you please post the possible meet-up at bulacan, estimated distance : sandiganbayan-trailhead, trailhead to puning cave and estimated traveltime (@pasyal pace). TIA

@p. dash
OT: you can try the TOPEAK Hexus 16. on top of 15 different tools, it includes a chain repair tool and i understand it sells @p8xx.00 at john wilkies or some other bike shop. it can easily fit into an mtb baggy short pocket and very useful for road/trailside emergency repairs
