Got it...cuase most 12/24 races I know they dont care how many laps of the member of the group. They just concern many laps of the group will accumulate. If one rider stronger on the group, he can add more laps (teamwork). So what happen if one member did not finish his required laps, due any circumstances? Do the group will get disqualified? Anyway..congrats to all PinoyMTBiker...you guys rocks. ..E -boy did 33 laps. If a team member fails to complete his/her required laps, that team will be considered DNF. The organizers put in this rule because they got complaints from past 24 hr races wherein teams in mixed category will let their female rider do only one lap, then the boys would do the rest. They wanted to make sure that the female riders were there to ride, and not just there so that the team can register under mixed category. Congratulations E-boy! It was great to see you there with Joyce. I was also amazed when I asked you how many laps you were able to make and you said 33!!!! Galing! Ahhh..make sense. Michelle thx for the info .

Whew! The pictures made my adrenaline shoot up again. My system's still quirky. My legs still ache from those seemingly endless climbs. As I lay down yesterday afternoon, muscle memory made it feel like I was still pedaling. I dreamt about the loose rock garden. After catching up on z's last night, I can't sleep now. I think about how the event will be good for us in the local biking community -- a reputable company noticing an enthusiastic target market and pledging support. Grnhrnt & I didn't really want to delve deeper into our masochistic side but we agreed that an event such as this had to be supported so we eventually joined at the last minute The event. IMHO it was efficiently officiated. Kudos to Thumbie and his group for getting it all together And yes, our support team consisting of our wives. We wouldn't have been able to transition properly had they not sweated the small stuff. Mountain biking has really deepend my relationship with my wife. Last but definitely not the least, I want to thank God for guiding and protecting not just me but all of us during the race. It was dangerous and it could have been worse. It was just before midnight while negotiating the downhill double tracks that I had this excruciating cramp as I dabbed my foot to right my bike. I couldn't put my right foot back on the pedal due to the pain in my calf. I prayed as I stuck my right leg out like an outrigger until the pain diminished. I felt I was assisted through that fast section. So much for the runaway traing of thoughts. Got to get to sleep and get back to normal. It was a blast seeing you all at the race! Hope to be with you again in the next events ;D ;D ;D

Sis and brad, thanks for sharing the photos . Wow!! It was a wonderful weekend, an unforgettable experience!!! Congrats to all who've joined the race . I am happy to be part of the PinoyMTBiker family even if I am a lurker and seldom posted a message: D. Thanks to PinoyMTBiker family and special thank you to our Team Captain Michelle and to her ever-supportive hubby Matt. Mich: Thanks for asking me to be in your team, I did not hesitate to say yes when you've ask me . But...when I have heard that this may not be a good race to experience and that the tracks might be difficult and that bad things might happen...I thought of backing out...but I remember the motto that says "everything happens for a reason" so I stay . Kakatakot yung motto na yun ah . Buti na lang at dehins ako nag back out, galing natin . I am proud to be part of the Team Cruisers , hahaha we are just cruising...tama ba yun? race yun di ba? hehehe Get well soon Qt_Kat and MountG. I miss PinoyMTBiker, next ride ulit !!!
