I did this left-transfer to a small concrete tranny but I was probably going a bit too fast. I guess the tires squirmed and I just heard my rear rim scraping the pavement for the longest time. D@mn I hated that sound. eric: It was a hard-compound highroller which I loved, but was pissed when I discovered that I wrecked it in the process ('twas relatively new pa naman)

jd00: I've always used wire beaded DH tires, brad, this one included. joolz01: Yeah the only casualties are my ripped tire and my ground-up rims. nikkocholo: Hehe, it just happened last Sunday night.

Yup, one whole side of the tire got unseated. The bead was intact though except for a tiny part of it that jutted out.

folded, hehe. the pavement ground a flat spot on my beloved Mavic D521 rim. the rim is tough, it slid on the concrete sidewalk for about 5 meters (because of the speed and it was a bit downhill) and yet that's all it did. I still get to use it, yeah. The rider following me that time, Royce, said he saw sparks fly. Hehe. the rim and the pavement sandwiched this side of the tire forcing a rip. sayang angkapal pa ng tread
