@ - wade, i might just go 36H araya's with any sealed hubs, para no problems with brake pads. just thought about that.

I just got a 1999 GT show aluminum flatland bike in ebay YIPEEE!! it came as a kit, I only need wheels, brakes and some small parts. I will build it up and post pics soon, I hope I could still do tricks hehehehehe pero I will definitely try to pull off some of them hehehehhehehehehe

Hey apol! hardcore bike. The GT show bike is difficult to ride cause its rear end is so short. I remember trying one when it first came out. it wont stay down. it naturally wants to rest its weight on the front! been spending alot of time on the small bike. relearned decades this weekend. My arms can barely support my weight now - but i can jump around. cant find my balance point for scuff tricks though - still working on it when you build it up use a dragonfly gemini cable - dont use the old style y-split na gyro cable. get in touch with patrick at flatland fuel - he can help you with all the flatland specific parts you want. he still has a stash of RL edge tires i think... www.flatlandfuel.com

@wade am going to use the odyssey modulever for the rear brake and the monolever for the front, I got this for a mad cheap deal and am stoked about it, will try to build it asap, i ordered all the parts already and this will be up and running in to weeks max hehehe......will check flatland fuel for some parts will post pics of final build

Get the new modulevers - the one with the hinge. there were a couple of batches with 1 piece modulevers and they crack once you fall forward like on a hang-5

I cant believe that I will be able to meet one of my BMX idols and have dinner and hang around with................RON WILKERSON!!! heheheh first I was star struck and was not able to speak but as the night progessed it was like talking to an old friend about old school bikes, tricks, videos, riders, and magazines......it was crazy and surreal, imagine hangin out with the inventor of the "abubaca" hehehe I felt like wayne and garth in wayne's world when they got a backstag pass to hang out with Alice Cooper "we're not worthy!!!!were not worthy!!!" hehehe anyway he said he still rides vert (at 40+ years old) and he makes it a point to ride at least 3 times a week, I hope when I am 40 I can still ride heheheh here the only pic I have enjoy oldschool BMXers hehehe
