Learned a move? Made a tsamba? Post it here ...
Purpose : To teach and inspire each other and to help each other to make that Tsamba permanent.
No flames please if your good in trials, we are still learning here. For those who arent into trials its not that great if you just learned something so it isnt bragging ;D
Heres mine:
I made a tsamba last night on a solo nightride (1-3 am) , I was able to do a series of pedal kicks ala those stuff done on a series of pipes BUT it was on strips of granite on Baywalk spaced 3-4 ft apart, it was amazing ... natural and effortless. Sadly I couldnt repeat it. Im gonna try it again this weekend.
But it gave me a different perspective on how to use momentum and carry it out to the next move.
Also I learned front and rear tire swap dunno the term<-- saw in TO & TRA video posted I somewhere. Where TO does it smoothly.
Its kinda from front endo to manual but my manual stalls right away as soon as I switch to rear ... prolly because of the suspension fork (shud hav ridgid) and massively long chainstays plus short legs hehe.

Tip: If you havent experience what 'balance point' is then your balance point is waaayyy farther back than you think.
Try doing a manual with a low low butt to gain confidence almost scrubbing the tires.

I had a very vivid dream once where I could manual down a flight of stairs, change up to a nose wheelie at the bottom and swing around the rear tire going to a track stand. Sadly... all in my dreams.

i've been seeing some variations on manuals. i still haven't figured out which is the right one for me. some do it with a higher center of gravity, some do it with their arse low and near the tire. some do it with speed. how ever it's done i won't learn it if i don't practice.
also, i've been under this philosophy before, because i was mostly into urban assaults, that you can hone skills in the streets so you can improve on the trails. i've never been so wrong. it's the other way around. skills on the streets can be improved riding the trails, or as i have been doing lately, the fourcross track. dang, i love that track.

actually if you practice manuals on a speed bump thats a small start for rythm sections. Most important thing is to find you balance point either way. Maybe it because you less afraid to mess up on dirt.

My tsamba: I was practicing on getting up the rear wheel using a pedalkick, when I placed my weight further back, I was able to get up on the rear wheel and that's it... I wasn't able to hop cause I was amazed on what I've done, i don't know what to do!!!... I hope I could practice again although its raining outside

Others ride sundays I personally prefer to ride afternoons on sundays.
Im based in Makati I usually play around our streets often so if your around maybe we can swap tips.

i did it last night. yeah, i was using someone else's bike, with a longer top tube, longer crankarms and it was GEARED. but i did it. kahit to flat lang. hehehe. i was able to do a pedal kick last night on my sweet foot. i started on my bad foot, pushed, ended up on my sweet foot and pulled up for a the hop. sweet. now i just have to figure out how to do it without using the seat. ;D
