i saw this on the pinkbike.com forum and i though i might share it with you guys!!!!!!!!!
here goes!!!!!!!!!
Ok, so I see there's still lots of questions on different tricks and whatnot. A while ago we had a "Trictionary", basically I went through it, took all the ones I could, and put them into this one. Obviously I don't have every trick possible. If you have a good description of a trick (and please do make it good, it needs to be explanatory), please PM it to me, and I will add it to here. Hopefully this can be stickied. If you have a request for a trick, please PM or post it, and I will get one added.
The tricks are in alphabetical order. There is a description of the trick, and some have small tips at the end of the description/explanation. If you have a tip you'd like to add to an existing trick, PM it please. Also, if you feel you can provide a better description than the one given, PM it to me, I'll review and edit in the better one. Thank You.
So, without further ado, the list:
1 Footed Table
This trick is an easy variation from a regular table. If you have tables down then this is another easy trick to add to your bag of tricks. Approach the jump preparing to table, when your front wheel leaves the lip, start doing your table, right away kick your bottom foot out and then click your table nice and flat bay bending your top leg. Pull your foot and bike back into position and land smoothly.

1 Footer
1. Decide which foot is best to take off. Make sure this foot is behind the other foot when coming up to the jump, and that the cranks are level. Air it out.
2. At the peak height of your jump, take off your best foot. This will cause your front foot to push down on the crank, which is normal.
3. Bring back your foot. Remember that the pedal is now higher up than when you left it. Your foot should come back to it naturally, but it does need a bit of help.
4. Land it.
1 hander
1. leave lip and level off
2. take your preferred hand of at the highest point in your jump
3. place back on and land smoothly
4. practice getting bigger
Kona-Shreder_Tom
Abubaca
1.Depending on the length and slope of the run-in, you'll want a speed when your taking off about the speed of a jog.
2. A few feet before the object you will stall, you need to pull your front up high.
3.When your back tire is about a foot or two away from the object, pull your weight up and tuckyour back tire in, while leaning back.
4. To get off: Lean back farther, so your front moves upwards, then shift your weight on a 45 degree angle between up and back.
5. Tuck your back wheel in and push your front forward.
6. Then when you land, back pedal and turn your bars slighly, then brake or lock your cranks to spin 180 out.
TIP: When stalling, don’t worry about the lean. You should be just behind the centre of your back wheel (just above and back from the hub). Don’t forget to keep the brake locked until ready to get out of the trick!

Barspin
pull up the front wheel
-let go the left hand off the bars
-throw the bars with your right hand and release the bars when it has done a 90 degrees rotation
-bring your left hand palm near your right hand
-let the bar spin another 180 degree freely
-catch the bar with the left hand when it comes near you
-finish the rotaion with the bar in the hand
TIP: This is for a clockwise rotation. You may feel comfortable spinning the bars counterclockwise. If so, follow these directions, but in reverse (I.E throw the bars with your left hand, not your right.)

basic whip
1. approch jump at normal speed
2. just as you leave the lip turn the bars slightly to the side
3. as the rear wheel leaves the lip push your legs out to one side and keep the bars turned
4. as you come in to land pull your legs back in and your bars level
5. land
TIP: This is also called a Moto Whip, as it is done a lot by motocross and such. Quite an interesting trick to learn, and can be used to tweak tricks.

CanCan
1. Decide on the best foot to use. Should be the same one as you use for 1 footers. Air it out.
2. Just before the peak height of your jump, begin to take off your best foot and throw it over top of the top tube. By the peak height, your foot should be about as extended as it will get.
3. Bring your foot back and land it.
TIP: This is a nice variation of a 1 footer. Practice the 1 footer before attempting. You can also style this trick by making it a No Footed CanCan, which is listed below.
Crankflip
To start, get ready by bending your knees. I ride left foot forward, if you ride right foot forward, just do the opposite.
So, your standing on your pedals, knees bent. Your pedals should be somewhat even, but with your back foot pedal up a little bit from centered. Build up and store pressure in your back foot, the foot that will do almost 100 percent of the work. Go to jayhop like you regularly would, but as your lifting the bars up and exterting pressure downwards on the pedals, store that pressure up in your leg/ankle and suddenly release it, causing your foot to kick downwards. Move that front foot out of the way. Thats basically all the work your front foot does, you need to time it so that it moves out of the way just as you "pop" your ankle/leg downwards to make the cranks backspin. Your cranks will be spinning backwards. Bend your knees up towards your chest so they clear your spinning cranks. After they rotate 360 degrees, get ready to catch. This is the scary part, commitment. Catch more or less at the same time, but more with the front foot stopping the spin.
Thanks to: Tiltmode
FLAT GROUND 180
1. pick up your front tire, already starting the spin by about 10 degres(any speed)
2. look over your shoulder, spoting your landing
3. pick up your back tire, leval it out with your front tire, carry the spin around.
4. Land with both tires flat on the ground at the same time.
5. learn how to ride fakie before you learn 180's, when you land the 180 you will be riding fakie (backwards).
TIP: Turning your head and hips is key. Where the head goes, the body and bike will follow. Turn your head as far around as you can. Once you spot the landing, keep your eyes on it.
Thanks to: >STREET-KING<
Front Wheel Hop
1. Set your seat as low as possible.
2. Ride at a comfortable pace, not too fast.
3. Lock your front brakes doing an endo, leaning far back but a high endo.
4. as soon as you get your bike up quiet a ways, jump up pulling your bars, like a bunny hop, just on the ground, not forgetting to lift off the pedals bringing the bike with them from the bars, and jumping your body.
5. practice and practice, and to make it look good, on your last hop pull the bars back and land on the ground in one hop, not letting ur bike just roll down to the ground.
6. Practice doing this on curbs, objects, and small stair sets.
TIPS:
1.it helps to have a light fork, set up stiff and springy to help you get off the ground more.
2. PRACTICE! dont give up, over a week of practice and confidence you WILL do this.

Fufanu --stall rear wheel to 180 off--
These are easiest to learn on something without a really vert wall like quarters, try it on banks first. Progress at your own speed
1. approach at comfortable speed
2. lift front wheel and turn like 20 degrees so that when you stall on your rear wheel, your bike is on an angle
3. when you go to do your spin off, lean with your shoulders until you start turning. When you turn your shoulders, the bike will start to turn with them.
4. lift your rear wheel and use your foot thats furthest back to push the rear end around, land and roll away
TIP: Similar to the Abubaca, but without the spin before the stall. You can roll out of these by doing a 180 and rolling out straight, or go straight back and roll out fakie.
Thanks to: ParkFun
J-Hop
1. Find a good stretch of pavement leading up to a curb. Accelerate to a jogging speed, or slightly faster (but only a little). Aim straight for the curb.
2. Going straight, pull up on the handle bars so that you get into a manual position, with your butt hanging over the center of your wheel.
3. Pull up the rear wheel and level it with the front. The higher your front wheel, the higher your whole hop has the potential to be.
4. Land it.
TIPS: Start small. Curbs are excellent practice. Get good at hopping up those, and progress bigger. The best principle to keep in mind is that your front wheel should be at least as high as the object you are trying to hop up onto.
Thanks to: TrevInCanadia
Manual
1. pull back on bars whilst covering the back brake, lean back as far as possable
2.make it so you very nearly flip but control with the back brake
3. move your hips back and forward for balance.
4. another good tip is to try and sit on the back wheel, it worked for me!
TIP: When you feel you are about to fall off the back, pull the rear brake, but not too hard. If you pull too hard, the front wheel will fall, and the manual is over. However, if you lightly press the brake, you will retain control and keep going.
Thanks to: Kona-Shreder_Tom
No Footer
1. ride at the jump at the speed you feel comfortable.
2. hit the jump
3. Kick your legs out as fast as you can
4. dont think about your feet, they will come back them selfs
5. land. (whith your feet on the pedals)
TIP: When going to kick your feet out, bring them up first, about 1 to 2 inches. If you don't and kick straight out, your cranks will often spin, making it hard to bring your feet back.
Thanks to: Adri99DJ
No foot cans
Go of jump at a fairly good speed.
Let the end of the bike sink down a few inches, throw preferred leg over top tube, kick out both feet, bring both feet back planting the foot on the side that wasn’t thrown over the bike on the pedals first, then allow other foot to get over top tube and place on pedal, by this time when you land you should have your both feet on the pedals. and if you don’t, then one of your feet at least while be on and you should be able to walk away unscathed and ready to try it again.
TIP: Try other easier variations first, such as the no footer, and a regular cancan. Make sure to have a good grip on the bars before throwing out the legs.
Thanks to: Zion - I
No Hander
1. Air out the jump.
2. Pinch the seat with your knees/thighs.
3. At the peak height of the jump, take your hands off the bars and extend out each side.
4. Bring hands back to the bars, land it.
TIP: Some prefer to pinch the seat first before taking the hands off, others do both at the same time. It's just a matter of doing what feels most comfortable for you. Also, some wait to pull off their hands until just a moment before they land, and actually land no handed, riding it out. This is difficult to learn, but fun to do once learned.

Nose Manual
1. For beginners, find a short hill (about 4 or 5 meters long), with a decent incline.
2. Approach the hill with no more than a jogging speed.
3. The key is to feather the front brake once on the hill, with just enough brake force to lift the back wheel, but not too much so as to go into and endo.
4. Try to hold the manual down the entire hill.
TIP: DON'T PANIC! Once you lift your back wheel and begin the nose manual, you cannot add any force to the brake except to keep the manual going. If you panic, you can/will lock the brake and send yourself over the bars.
Suicide No Hander
1) approach the jump at a comfortable speed
2) hit the lip and get control of the bike
3) grab the seat with your knees and squeeze you ankles into your cranks
4) let go off both hands at the same time
5) pull back arms behind your back and do a clap motion (1 clap)
6) then bring them back and get ready for the next double
TIP: Try taking the jump, and without taking the hands off, pinch the seat. Get comfortable pinching the seat before attempting. Also, try 1 handers first, try your left first and then your right (or right first, just try both hands.) This trick is also called a Clapper, or a Clap No Hander. A simple variation of a regular no hander.

The Table top
1.approch a jump that will give you a good kick with normal speed
2.just as your front wheel leaves the lip turn it to the side slightly
3.pull your legs up to the side, also lean the already turned bars as vertical as possable, they will turn up naturally.
4. fold out and land grinning.

Three Star
This trick is a combination of the 1 hander and No footer.
1. Just as a 1 hander, decide which hand you will be taking off in the air. Air off the jump.
2. At the peak height of your jump, take off your 1 hand and throw it out, and also take off your feet and throw them out, all in 1 smooth motion.
3. As you begin to sink for the landing, bring back the hand and feet all at once.
4. Land.
TIP: Practice the 1 hander and No footer separately before attempting.
Tobbogan
1.just as a 1 hander.....
2. grab your seat and hold it there for as long as possible...
3. for extra style turn bars 90 degrees
4.let go and find yer bars
5.land, jobs a gud'n

X-Up
1. Do a normal jump, make sure you have enough speed to get some air.
2.In midair hold on to your handlebars and turn them 180 degrees without taking the hands of them. (ie you cross your arms over)
3.Make sure that you return them before your land (its really not fun if you land while you turn the bars)
4.Land
