Thanx ulit, hope mangyari nga ung wish natin Kona makita c GT na nagpapagilas sa harap natin GT/Kona - Another question Im a lefty I believe my choco foot is my left foot kc un palagi ang nsa una by instinct, I believe kailangan my hand and leg coordination when doing some techniques right? Heres my question where should I place my rear brake lever on the handle bar, I believe me tamang ayos d2 para s mga kaliwete right?.

Bukoy...pre...again it's up to you where you will be comfortable with...but I don't think it would be much of an issue where to locate the rear brake lever when practicing trials...because you have to learn pivoting left to right and doing pedal-ups with the choco foot or bad foot forward. You'll just have to start practicing with the choco foot forward 'coz it would feel more natural. If you have read in the trials-online posts...some of them have increased gaps and ups by using the bad foot at forward position I won't recommend having the rear brake placed at your left, by the way. Because lots of us have our rear brake located at the right. Now, imagine if once in your life somebody lent you a veeery nice downhill bike with the rear brake lever at the right...and you forgot na sanay ka mag-brake sa likod using your left hand. And then...you go downhilling at tagaytay and have to suddenly use the rear brake...araguuuuuuyyyy...front brake pala ang napisil mo...hope you got the picture ;D

Bukoy - good for you 'cause I'm a lefty to Yung rear brake lever ko is at the right side and the front is on the left side. My good foot is either at the left or right When doing endos and trackstanding I place my right foot forward. But when hopping, I place my left foot forward. It's up to you man

well ok, gamayin ko nalang kung saan ako mas sanay by instinct. Salamat ulit s advice, balitaan ko nalang kayo kung me nagawa na ako sa mga basic trial techniques cguro after a year hehehe ;D well depende na talaga sa akin kung tuloy ang practice matututunan ko rin ang mga iyon . Tnx alot... well more questions to come.

kulas...there are bikes that are trials specific...and these are impossible to be used in trailriding...I would prefer a stock mtb that can be ridden xc and at the same time can be used for some trials tricks...i'd go for a 14" or shorter seat tube frame, the longest 1.5" handlebar i can get (not shorter than 27"), and downhill rim tires at the rear

Kona...nice meeting you last sunday Pasensya na di tayo masyadong nakapag-bonding..he..he..i was committed to another group kasi You were younger than I was expecting..inggit ako sa'yo...mas flexible pa ang joints mo and you have the time to your side to practice more tricks ;D Oks din yung bike mo 'pre...it felt 3 to 5 pounds lighter than my bike when I was doing the backhops on it...parang gusto ko na rin na frame yung kona ah...it felt right when I was doing some backhops and pivots...just re-adjust your brake levers so that "one finger" braking is possible...oks na muna yung handlebar mo...if you go to advanced moves tsaka mo na lang palitan

Oi GT dude, nice to know ya too.

i am planning to replace it with a wider platform pedal with set screws all over for greater grip...however medyo mahal...nasa 2500 pesoses the last time i've checked...yari ako kay misus pag binili ko yon ...so tyaga na lang muna ko sa present pedal ko...i chose that one kasi malalaki ang spikes which really fits nicely to my shoes for the grip that i need...so far satisfied naman ako sa kanya...i'd rather be on them than on wider pedals na madulas naman

Last week I kinda forced my fingers on the right hand due to the new brakes I installed, naninibago ako kaya walang praktis, umuulan pa Anyway Gt dude how do you maintain balance when doing bachops also how do you know your on the right position? Thanks

Kona...pre pasensya na sa late reply...dami kasi trabaho ngayon...istorbo talaga ang trabaho sa biking ;D Anyway, as I told you before...setup your brake levers so that you will only use one finger...index finger ba tawag dun..he..he..also...dapat when the brakes are fully clamped, the brake levers shouldn't be touching your other fingers holding on to the grips. To maintain balance on backhops here's what I do...actually I just think I'm doing it and my body just seem to follow..he..he.. 1. Lower your butt nearer to the rear wheel...I feel more stable at this position...pag mataas kasi position ng fuwet mo parang nakatayo ka na and you tend to lose your balance. 2. Hop a little to correct your position...kung saan ka parang matutumba dapat dun din papunta ang hop mo. How do I know if I'm in the right position? Pre...at this point of my backhopping practice..di ko pa actually alam kung I'm in the right position na...I just tend to feel my position...and try to correct or counterbalance thru hopping when I'm on the rear wheel only. Nasa learning palang din ako so here's the best advice I can give to you na starting din to learn backhop: Just try to hop once lang muna. Endo to your backwheel then do one hop tapos ibaba mo uli ang front wheel then do the trackstand. Ulit-ulitin mo lang ito. This will teach your mind how to pickup the front wheel, do one backhop, and maintain balance by trackstand. You should aim at least ten of these na dehins mo binababa ang paa mo. Palagay ko after a week na ginagawa mo ito your mind will already learn how to balance properly to do a few backhops. Good luck

OT uli: Okey lang yan Kona, 5 yrs naman samin may board din, though took my board 2 yrs after I graduated dahil I was pick right out of college then sent elsewhere for training. No problem na rin even if nadelay board exam ko, since i'm practicing my profession kaya konti lang nireview ko sa notes ko, more on probability & stats, pero dapat sana nag review center ako, kaya lang wla time since may work din kasi
