Guys Read this Carefully..... Ways to be Not a Poser.... 1. Shut up and Ride.... 2. Tira ka din pag tira nila.... sayang bike mo... ganda suspension.... (yung kaya mo lang ha! Huwag muna yung 10-footer!) 3. Attempt doing stunts of your own, dehins puro pose! 4. Try to be a regular in DH Rides... para nakikita ka nila na madalas k na mag DH.... it helps a lot u know! 5. Maki-Jam ka sa mga fellow riders... to simply know them and also to adapt to the crazy minds... don't be mr. scrooge! 10. Ayusin mo Bike mo para dehins hassle sa iyo or sa ibang rider.. and para di sila tatawa or dehins mo iisiping pinagtatawanan ka... Note: This is not a TIRA-TIRA to you! This is to Help You remove your Brand Name..... Safe Ride! Enjoy! Please Add for the benefit of our fellow riders who do not want to be branded as P..... Yes Master!! ;D

patrickSir I'm also using a Sora for RD but it was not compatible with my cogset kc stock then I've heard that if we using a racing bike component, it should be match with racing bike components too. like the bike of PasawayLouie, he was using a sora and his cogset is also sora component that is why it will match...good for Dj

@choybuts- with a ride like that who said that you're a poser? poser for me are those people who buy DH specific rigs and use it as a pogi points, use it on paved roads and doesnt allow any dirt to stick on his bike. anyway thats what they want and its their money, lets just wait for them to sell it at a very low price, with that attitude i consider that rig a virgin, hehehe...ride on brad

are posers only limited to DH rig riders? there are lots of non- Dh bikers who ride ultra expensive bikes, flashing them to fellow bikers but limits or doesnt rides in dirt... or just do some trails for photo ops... (parang mr. politician)
or does upgrading from time to time even if there is no real need can be considered a poser?

choy your not a poser anymore... from what you've just shared dude choy=destroy already.....hahahahhahaha.....
better start saving up for tougher equipment dont worry bout the mindbomb.. its a "tank" its gonna take you awhile before you wreck it to the point of no use ...relax....
if you start breaking rims you better start studying shifting body weight when you stand on your pedals....hehehe
**what does it take to call a poser a poser? hmmm interesting.......
my take on that would be: you can call a poser a poser when you show him the dirty finger but you struggle with the few remaining unbroken fingers you have to give it to him.... lol
or its when you pass their group you shout "PORMA!" just like in the gameshow and they have no frickkin idea what it meant but you just laugh and kick dirt in their eyes or till they crash and start eating rocks and cow shite ..right? LOL
DONT THAT!

Ryan is an example of "ride kung ride!" It's not on what you have but how you enjoy the ride. Congrats brad.

Instead if becoming a critic, why just don't invite the guy for a ride. I myself is using my bike inside the city, why? I have no fellow riders here with the same bike mine, I am in Naga City, the trail is located in Mt. Isarog, who will be the person who is in his right mind will bomb down the DH trail over the mountain alone? So I have no choice but to ride around downtown, but when I am riding, it is just me and the bike, no helmet, no pads, gloves nor shoes. I ride with my trusy hiking slippers hehehe... Now, am I a poser or what?

brad, at least ride with a helmet. i agree. i don't think anyone will accuse you of being a poser by wearing one and if anyone does... he's a moron. ;D use a knuckle bone or an xc helmet for urban riding at least.

I don't have a bucket helmet, I have a full face and an xc helmet but I will look crazy wearing such on a city ride. Btw, here in Naga, even dirt jumpers do not exist, we have a few bmx riders but they are kids, they ride better than me but it is hard to cope up with their sched.

riding your dh bike in the city is not really a big No no no.... totoo..
we might see people riding dh bikes in the streets but having them flamed as posers agad is not right...
we might as well approach them, introduce, and invite them to some rides... baka mamaya PRO Rider pala sya na dehins pa lumalabas ang potential... you'll never know...
but still... we will know Posers after sometime of getting to know them... dehins right away... ok?
