hehehe..... psyblade send my regards to papa goying! i catch you in the garden of eden! hahahahahaha.........
.... hello all, we have just finished a nasty Myth buster ride in B10 today... hehehe... rain is only water it wont kill you if your smarter!..hehehe
We tested the Single-pipot foes dhs-tube: try the all new pipeline in b10 with the all new rockgarden washed out and made nastier by the torrenting rains! ( all 2 boxxers bottomed out! hahaha... ) the bike handled as expected , it felt like a very basic bike, it gave out the 9 inches it claimed, the rear travel activity was plush.. crashed a few times hehehe( imagine doing 15kph inside the pipeline during heavy rains is not advised!).. slippery condition riding is like when your tires would stick but they dont and you wake up face flat embracing a big rock... this allowed me to push the bike further, while trying to wrestle the bike for control and a lot of curse words, the bike stands on its own.... i give the single pivot a 2 thumbs-up for bein a suspension design for the old-school hardcore rider, who sticks to instinct vs training.... lol...hehehehe
i give the multi-national link a 2 thumbs up as well, its plush delivery of rear travel shows the innovation that suspension systems have pushed DH to the next level.. plus the DHX platform is like gravy on a medium-rare T-bone steak! it compliments the stability of the Iron-Horse Sunday DW-link...... this type of suspension design would suit well the weekend bomber or the seasoned finesse racer...
then extendead used a KHS alite HT on zokeys....this is the No-pivot bike.. hehehe...(Trans: yan tuloy nalaglag na naman sa bangin una ulo!)... insane! B10 trail conditions have evolved from worse to "Putang ina ano yan ang lalalim nyan! tukod boxxer natin dyan 1 miss u fly!".. and so i did... again n again .....and again! lol.....even with 10-15kph approach speeds if you arm-pump short and the front bottoms out then ur front tire lands on the next rock..... FIRE CATAPULT!....lol Ejectoh-seatoh!.... hahahah.... (the bystanders screamed they thought i was dead,, "Lakas nung bagsak kala namin mabubuwag yung bato".....hahahaha........ extendead saw that and i when i was in mid-air upsidedown i heard them fuckers applauding and laughing!...... hahahah.... "SARAP BA!".... lol
theyr all good bikes just dont use HT bikes for DH your gonna get hurt over n over... lol

the argument of single pivot and multi-link is busted!!
as far as our skills is concerned... the only difference we see is the marketing strategy of the bike companies
they may be differences.. im sure its the calculator and drawing boards who knows it better..
2 thumbs up for the 2 different ride...
as for the no-pipot... it sucks!!!!here are the experimentations... THE SPECIMENTHE LABuRATS

next week we test the myth of the brake-jacker! hehehe........ Four bar linkage frame standard mmount discs vs Four bar linkage frame floating disc brakes.... a good place to test this would be row-ones' high speed 8min track.... hmmmm we just make 3 foot log jumps to test the jacking power heheheeh.............. ;D 3 foot log jumps will launch you a good 5 ft up and in mid air squeeze them rear brakes like pam andersons titties ;D... and well see if it jacks up and fucks the rear wheel travel... ;D if 8" become 4" or less on landing... well... hehehe i think i know whats gonna happen to me next..... the brake jack will transfer all the rebound energy to the pedals and throw me forward into a faceplant.... hmmmmmm........ ;D

the DHS just looks like a long mono-link bike... but its geometry speaks for itself and the cockpit is 3 way adjustable.... hehehhe...
the Sunday is like a DW that looks commanding.... the suspension design kinda turns it bottomless and plush, the cockpit is fit for a king and its roomy enough for big-air moves...
the KHS hardtail .... no-pivot?(NO-PIPOT)just alu welds and an XC fork, hahaha... next time extendead dont forget to wear your EWD.... oks.. heheheh i'll feed your skin to my nokians! heheheeheh.... you want "made in Finland" on your neck? heheheheh.....

@ Extendead,
There is one myth that you should bust...
"Can forks running on elastomers be upgraded to open bath?"
I remember you and Bans doing a fork makeover... using RST 381 forks and pouring some fork oil inside the legs.
A very squishy and messy experience, if I remember right.

@ Badong,
Oh yes, I remember that one. The title for that incident should be:
"When forks fight back!"
So bear in mind whenever you abuse your fork... it might bite back later.
