if sa pinoy DH setting what brand/type of shoes would be great for platform pedals? Aidz get the sixsixone platform pedal shoes. Launch ata un model. Or better year wait for their new shoes with soles from 5.10 as well (or similar tech as 5.10). I saw a picture taken from interbike in one of the website before but couldnt find it na. But Im sure its coming out soon. You may also try shimano platform pedals simlar to what our friend gloriajong's using.

Aidz - try mo yung nike air whistler. they have a good sole for flat pedals and are more durable since the soles are sewed in and not glued

just to add to the question on shoes. where can i find a shop that has good deals on them?
extreme and john wilkie have the nike whistler. how about skate shoes? i have tried stoked in rockwell for etnies, shoe shop for the vans. are there any others (for the different brands). i am looking for white ones (need new white shoes for everyday use too aside from riding).

VANS or airwalk is fine, also the flat ADIDAS Hans Rey is using looks cool almost P4T though. I personally like airwalk since its on the softside.

seriously though - get the whistlers. mine are about to go on their first year anniversary and they are still in good condition. the fact that the sole is stiched on and not glued makes a big diff.

haha @ patrick & joes. I hurt myself more on hike a bikes going up a trail rather than from actual riding. thats the pedal platform users curse. flat shoes dont grip well while hiking or walking for that matter...
