my point: 150k bike + sam hill .......will MOST PROBABLY beat..... 20k bike + steve peat. Agree. Dont under estimate the power of having the correct equipment.

u can flick it if it is light.
sub 40 dh race bike is possible, two directions,
a downgraded burly dh bike or a build up long travel trail/am bike
1. how about this one, why not race with a single crown, u can save weight. (depends on the course)
like paolo, bullit / marz 66
buddybender used to race with trixter and dj3.
dh race in the phils, the race courses here is not all the way down, it goes down and up and down and goes flat.
unlike the foreign races from the vids, all the way down,
2. Dt swiss spokes double butted forged revos' on you dh wheelset, tell me if it will explode on 12 ft. drops hehehehehe,
3. Or bring it to the moon! you can borrow the '60s moon buggy to shuttle you up in the mountains, I heard their are lots of good trails out there.
Note: number 3 is a joke, obviously hehehehehehe

amf..... mag kita naman kayo ni nono d ba papa jhongbato? eheheheh........Bili lang ng bili...so that when u come back here...eheheh plenty kami ma-arbor sayo ...nyahahahah...... Prototype lang ako 10.5" eye to eye.......
SINDI MUNA BRB!...nyahahahahahha...
but seriously the bikes total weight changes depending on ur current set-up... some ppl go lighter, some go heavier.... what matters is u can turn n lean like a butterfly with ur bike, u can sprint it like a bumblebee and u can grab and control it like ur lawit and ur comfy with-it....
....thats all that matters from the inside line peeps.....
Prototype ko po ..pls...waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa......

reviews? ala pa, but the rear shox on the sunday has a reservoir charge of only a 100psi. very low compared to all other shox. oh, and the BB height sits low so 165mm cranks is a bit better to use. slack head angle, these are only specs on the frames.
I'm not fast enough to know if it makes any difference compared to the horst link rear end. brake jack is almost if not the same as horst link. i would say the pedal feedback is the only difference. sunday probably will get the pedadlling course, plushness and bump absorption is same, hey, just get dhx 5.0 and that should even things out.
0.02 for now

...and if you still can't reduce the weight of your DH bike...and you believe you're training hard enough...go out again and train ten times more than you usually do...weight is relative if you're stronger and tougher than those around you...

A heavy bike may not necessarily be heavy to handle. Keep also in mind that DH courses put a lot of punishment to the bike. That's why most DH bikes are burly to take abuse. Ive seen a couple of guys cracked their FR frames during races.

dt swiss revo spokes for DH? oo, hinde, pwede? hehehee just asking, mostly 14 straight gauge.
see in the video esteban peaty pepito, lifting his orange 223/224 with boxxer at the finish line fort william.
how much weight that could be?, Sub 40 i guess,
;Dor he just go to the gym and lift beer mugs nyahahahaheehe
seriously,
tha orange 222/223/224 bike with a boxxer is fairly light, i have lifted one (jeff's) maybe 36 to 38 lbs is possible.

time to replace my battered sdg big boy saddle.
I bought this stupid skinny saddle for 350 petot at endless bike shop yesterday,
looks like a clone of a velo saddle, the brand is active.
i bought it because it's cheaper then the expensive roaide saddle like selle italia slr etc... and it's going to be abused anyway.
it's hard on the ass, but makes your dh bike look fast even if you're slow.
will test this one tomorrow maybe in grotto, stand more often going downhill?
from sofa to banko hehhehe (stool) hehehehe
