;D Hey my buddy and i have just check out the new trail in maarat last saturday, Its just two weeks old, build by team haooh and john wilkie, the trail starts at the sari sari store at the top of maarat "wall" you will end up at the back of the hill where the recent fast din kami race was held, nice fast steep trail, berms drops jumps and one step up at the start of the trail
nice work guys.
expect to see more dh bikes being pushed uphill along the maarat "wall" this weekend.
It was a blast! Been there for two weeks in a row. Boyet and some of the pro guys improved the trail last Saturday and It's almost completely ridable even for begginers like me. It's a pity that while we are fixing the drops and jumps two weeks ago, the ones near the starting point (before the steep decline which has a sharp left turn) rain poured the following week and kinda ruined the course. But it is still worth climbing the wall... yeah!
I contributed in the developement of these trails, together with Israel Dee, Joy Iballa, Alvin Alvar and the rest of Team John Wilkie who discovered the area and With the help of Boyet Camba, Bans Mendoza, Athena Beltran and the 43 bikes, TRIXX & Team Haooh!, The Joy Ride trail will be finish soon. Enjoy the ride
the trail still has a lot of work to do, we'll keep you posted
the name is not official, we just dub it as " Joy ride " because Joy Iballa do the most work on the trail. and yes, i've heard that K%$#^$@$ is considering the place for the first K@#$^#&* Cup just a rumor though
ofcourse it is open to all newbies but it would be safer if we finish it frist, there are still some areas that needs a lot of working on. Options are available for the newbies and the usual, obstacle for the expert.
Haha yeah Wayne's World 2, when he was called to make Waynestock
But I think it goes further back, Field of Dreams with Kevin Costner ata
"If you build, they will come" this sounds familiar...is it taken from the movie waynes world 2? hehe...i think it was jim morison who said it..if im not mistaken.
i think it was a dream sequence with a naked Indian, Jim Morison told Wayne " if you booked them they will come " Waynes world 2 and in the movie fields of dreams Ray Lliotta told Kevin Cosner " If you build it, they will come "
