Trust Pure Gutz advise..........AN excellent PRO DH rider Hey Alpha where did you saw that KJC helmet? I think I saw one DHer using it and it looks really nice. I was thinking of getting one... Wag ka na mag switchblade. Like I said before, the most vunerable part of a FF is the mouth guard. The detachable mouth gurad of a switchblade is not as strong as a real FF. Get a real FF if you can afford. (I think you can get a good FF for the price of a switchblade.) Good luck and see you on the trails...

sir Mervz, very interesting thread. I need a FF as well. I saw a KJC helmet that was truly a DH MTB model with the DOT sign. Twas light and comparable to the 661 comp in weight.Is this any good? alphadude, have you checked the fullface helmets currently available in all-terra? several savory models from TLD and 661 (cheapest at 4k) im saving up for one. oh and some nice 661 XC helmets on stock too. i'm curious though with the helmets donb is selling

Storm,
I suggest you save your money and buy a TLD helmet... Kahit gaano ka-pangit bike mo bast naka Troy Lee ka pogi ka pa rin! ;D
Im sure you'll be happy with it. It has all the features: style/looks, safety, comfort/vented except for affordability!

Kings has a black full face on display and its only 2800 (2600 kya ata). Stealthy, just the way I like 'em.

It has all the features: style/looks, safety, comfort/vented except for affordability! dude! i love TLD but i suppose i can do away with the style/looks department as long as the helmet is safe and cheap enough to ride hehe i'd rather that i can ride competently and cleanly with a low-profile helmet than on a flashy one and i suck completely or feel like a poser. don't get wrong i love fancy and flashy stuff as much as the next guy but as long as i don't have the cash (and requisite skills) yet i'd rather look non-descript hehe. and parang mahirap din if you have an uber-gorgeous helmet baka isipin ganun din ang mukhang nakatago sa loob. high expectations ba tapos pagtanggal... haha i prefer something simple and stealthy like kiko de leon's helmet. parang Star brand yata?

TLD na lng na D2 Carbon bilhin nyo! Very Expensive pero lightweight and looks good on you pa!
Scratch proof sya!! Once you crash, your head will automatically avoid all things that can hit the D2 helmet.
;D
P20K++ kasi eh!

This give mountain biking a whole new meaning. Check out this clip of the most extreme mountain bikers in the world. www.big-boys.com/articles/bmxbike.htmlhere's another one .. Great clip. These kids are mountain biking on a very narrow path on the side of a mountain. The one kid loses control and rolls 100s of feet down the side of this mountain. As the dude finally hits the bottom of the fall the one kid asks the other...Hey did you film it. Now that my friends is a true fan! Turns out clumsy biker was OK. www.big-boys.com/articles/mountainbike.html
