dehins naman patay and nakakatakot eh.... yon quad ka for the rest of your life. worst than being dead. dying is easy, living like a dead person is harder... and that could happen even sa 3' drop. there's a lot of risk w/ mtn biking. that's the way it goes. calculate your risk.... dehins yon "patay kung patay attitude" di ba?

The biggest drop ive done so far is the one in the recent Laoag race. Its about 12 feet but the receiver is perfect kaya smooth ang landing. Its harder to land 5 to 6 foot drops that has a flat landing.

Hey boys n girls................................ Its not how big you go...............iv done more drops than anybody here alive!.........15-35 footers( i dnt do 10footers sayang bike ko madudurog sa walang ka wenta wentang drop) ;D. Its what you can do with the bike to break all the boundaries of normal mtbiking!......its all about cleaning up your ride. Going big on things is just a plus when your riding skill improves.........by the time you know it your flying off 20 ft ridges like it was 5 ft!........With skill comes passion, and passion fuels the spirit.

Yup mackiee. That is the same place d' best of the best tipaklongs circa jan 2005 did their practice runs after EB every weekend at PICC's Lugawan. Urban Assault Legends like atomikmatchbox, pasawaylouis, stormloader, styxmaster69, great teacher ulyses, puregutz, polpan, mrsatomike, alienscream, Patrick, konablack and milo sagasa to name a few were some of the regular attendees.
Am delighted to know that you are carrying on this fine tradition.

i did a drop once at the fort around 1.5 feet at american cemetery, meron dun lauran at the side wall. but if you want a big drop try speed zone drop sa tabi lang. carefull with the guards they're strikto. i'll col it big , kasi mataas sa kin. but my friend allan of tay-tay hit approx. 6 or 6.5 may buelo.

hi everyone im back.... hehehe...
oh btw stop droppin your bikes on concrete your gonna fracture something.... hehehehe(Anshwa excluded cuz Banshee=invincible)
heheheh somethin i learned thoughout the years, if you keep banging on the same stress point given the fact that its all aluminim, ummmm...use your trail bikes on the trail.. and use a hardtail for your urban-attack ride...(thats how hairline cracks start).
and for those planning to go big... go find a transition landing spot its smoother and safer... only silly old men like me do monster-flat landers...ahehehehehe...
......... And here's chapter 2 of Re: Biggest drop you've done
going big is just half the battle... there is still the other half of "going fast" then...... going big while going fast.... now thats a different thread.... lol

i thought it's LANDING SAFELY that's the other half of going big.

Speaking of going big & fast. Poseur, how is the Boneyard in Whistler? It looks insane on video & tv.

unfortunately i'm now in the Phils..... working my butt off. fortunately i'm leaving in a week and will be visiting W for sure.... but mostly i miss the local shore rides. i hope i still remember how to ride the steeps. almost 8 friggin' months of not being on a bike. btw, the boneyard IS (always) INSANE. huge! it's getting bigger each year. i don't ride that stuff. i'm defintely not ballsy!

A talaga?! Well, you'll be riding in a week so that's cool. 8 months off the bike is nothing, man. You'll be dropping off & hitting stuff in 10 mins.
The north shore trails are already sick - could only imagine how crazy the boneyard is.
