donfacundo: so your rig was intended for DHilling. a friendly mtbiker-to-mtbiker advise, i hope you consult a reliable bike wrench (or veteran downhiller) as to your rig's set-up and intended use. yun lang po

hmmm.... here's the new product i've been trying out lately... ;D 07' Vision Cruiser frame with Fox Vanilla RC(Customized @dans) 01' Rockshocks Boxxer Pro (7" ;D) (customized @ dans) Sun double wide rims, 2.6x26 front n 2.35x26 rear nokian tires. 01' XT 44t cranks n rear hubs & 8 speed cogs ;D 01' deore hydro-discs... 8" front & 6" rear rotors Da bomb Da mortar stem, seatpost, pedals n saddle(libre eh!) ;D Chris king headset(antique ;D 1 1/2 sealed brng) its light... i mean seriouslly light for a dh or fr bike.. and so i thought... when i got familiar with it after round 10 spills in tagaytay.. ....hey hey... ;D its awesome.. i mean the geometry of the bike is like an ellsworth moment..its light short and designed to take big hits(if uv got the right suspension).. if u like to go big often and hop like a bunny rabbit on rock gardens.. this is the bang for the buck bike... ;D but seriouslly ..... trying out a vision cruizer might change the way you look at mountainbikes.... ;D

infinite3d,
you used DT swiss revos on your giant glory's wheelset? how's the performance? dont you miss the solid feel of the suspension doing its job? i feel that the DT swiss revos flex occassionally on my XC rig but its perfectly fine. but i dont think i'd like it on my all mountain rig. its just me though. i hope it does feel better on a DH or AM rig. coz my AM rig weighs in at 34.55 crazy pounds!
any reviews? ;D

by the way, i see some folks here use SDG's I beam seatpost and saddle combo.
if say i have one of those and i'd like to lose some weight, would it be ok to saw off 2 inches off the seatpost? so in short, if you put yourself in my shoes, what would you do? question coming off from a crazy weight weenie, hehe. ;D
