Hi king,
Jingo (cz) tried calling the nos. posted but nobody of them answered. weird. Good to hear that men's health alterra team will be joining this race. I asked Jm last week and he said he wasn't sure to join this one because of their participation in this sat's duathlon in Clark.

The Lipa MTB challenge race track is a rolling course, uphill & downhill, its a mix of road and dirt (fireroads). Road part are concrete (provincial roads) and the trails are similar to La mesa dam double track trails (packed dirt). It is 45 kms long point to point w/ the last 10 kms uphill (low grade) to finish line. This race will be more of an endurance race rather than a technical one. Hope lots of you guys join. Team Cycling Zone will be joining. My wife and son will be joining too. I think some Team All Terra members might join (unconfirmed).
There will be two categories A & B.
In the A cat. there will be 3 age groups 20-29, 30-39 & 40 & above In the B cat, only two 40 & below & 41 and above. If there are enough ladies that will join there will be a ladies class otherwise they will be bunched up w/ the 41 & above to compete w/ them.
I just re-read the original invite, now I'm not sure of above categorizing but this is what our team captain informed me.

Fyi:
I just spoke w/ Dr. Bong Napiza because I was concerned for my wife (she might get lost) that the marshal's might leave there posts if there doesn't seem like there are anymore cyclist coming thru the route and he assured me that this will not happen as the sweep vehicle will be an ambulance together w/ motorcycles.
For those who want to join this contest and make it a fun ride, you don't have to worry about getting lost or left behind.

King,
Yes we were all very happy to hear that Boyok did well in the Duathlon! According to him he enjoyed it so much he will be joining more of them. He was convincing us to join as well. I don't know how to run properly. I don't think my old knees can take it. hehehe...
