I went to timberland this morning. I saw jenmai and dandan w/ a handfull of other bikers. At around 11 am the organizers cancelled the event due to low turn out. there were more motocross riders there as the xc track was the motocross track. I wasted my time and 10 liters of gasoline!

not even a fly?!!...abah! mahirap paghiwalayin ang tae at langaw...must very disgusting indeed...baka yung nakitang langaw ni rocketman sumakit ang tyan, nasuka and went home before king arrived. laking kahihiyan yan...surely will affect the sport...the way sponsors (like smb) see mountain biking as possible medium of exposure and advertisement....just sad.

friday morning,me and the baguio boys were at tina's to look for mang dave (we needed directions to james hwat) then this guy aries arrives saying that we should go to timberland for the pro tour ...so we went (and nobody was there),did a practice run and did 1 official run. and the results were
elite: 1st me 2nd aky 3rd mark novice: 1st nelson (ukay) 2nd nuy (ukay)
we were the only ones there. i guess we were at the right place at the right time. after our runs,we left and didnt even bother to ask whats gonna happen next .. anyway, the organizers for this event suck.. it was a total waste of time. but then again, i had fun riding my bike.ü lets just drop this and look forward to the "REUNION" ..PEACE.

we were in timberland yesterday - partly for a fun trail ride, partly hoping to stumble into the protour tracks, 6 riders, braving the maarat mud with our DH bikes.. we left UP and biked our way at around 10am.. braved "The Wall".. went thru roxas, "backdoor" halo-halo, AFP, it was already 4pm when we left the trails..off to Teacher's Village, and eventually SSS Marikina to UP via Tumana.... no sign of any digging, etc etc.. we found buntings yes, but it was for the motocross tracks. nyahahaha!it was already around 5:30pm when we got back to UP. Timberland? Race? What Race? whatever. grabe... i never thought it would be the motocross tracks!!!!

our mtb sports always move forward is just that.......this organizers (URGE) blew their chances.......they thought where hunger for something.......but we proved them wrong.......no matter how big prizes are.......or you got BIG sponsors........rather 1st timer in this event.......its a matter of organizing it well.......if u sucks then U SUCKS!.......we dig & buried u down under........we always group in ONE especially the DH pipol.......likewise to our common friends who loves to race XC......money its not a factor here.......its for the LOVE of MTB SPORTS!........pls were NO SHOWBIZ!
EVS rule!

It's really too bad that this thing had to be such a farce. It was a good idea and they had a good sponsor on board, the organizers just didn't have the competence to pull it off. Never seen anything quite as ridiculous: I got the feeling they were putting more effort into selecting the bands for the post-race parties than they were into organizing the races.
I hope the sponsor, and other potential sponsors, realize that their problem wasn't with the idea, but with the execution. Guess the best way to show that is by showing off some solid, well organized events...

does the organizer know why there was a low turnout? they should know, and they should blush in shame. hehe
