goodpm! we only need the approval or jaymz for the Team F, ryan commited already..Please if you happend to see jaymz kindly please ask him if he wants to be our team mate?..thanks.!!! Best way to get the guys attention is to send him a Private message (PM) then get his mobile #,send him some power bars, then establish friendship thru SMS,then ask him out, like hang out, short bike ride ( i suggest go to UP) then eat some fishballs, then ask him the big question...................."do u like me ba?" ;D ;D ;D Seriously, send him a PM. hey! m not that easy to get... ;D ;D ;D i'm a 'dalaginding na filipina" (that's a never been kissed filipina girl for the others...)... seriously, m left hip hurts, my wrist is again swollen... jeezz! i think i'll just join the fireflies this weekend to prevent me from getting mad inside our house... goodluck guys! let 'em eat dust!!!! ;D ;D ;D

Will post a more thorough and detailed story later, still tired from the 24 hour madness and there's too much to write. one word to describe it for me would be " awesome". It's pretty much pure mountain biking bliss. My as s still hurts

"awesome" Those who hesitated or "excused" themselves from joining the event missed out big time! you missed half of your mountain biking life. Talk about biking non stop all day all night!! camping out with PinoyMTBiker folks!!! it was total bliss! happiness was in the air! no pressure felt at all! (except for paul . right sir tolits? just kiddin sir ) everyone was all smiles the whole time! it was like a fiesta out there! ;D ;D ;D came there around 8:30am and already poeple were set up for camp.we had a great well shaded spot for all the PinoyMTBiker teams, close to each other with the PinoyMTBiker banner (big thanks to alien_scream joey) proudly hanged up a tree. Weather cooperated and excitement filled the air. The race track was great, not a hard one but had some challenging sections especially at night.gradual climbs, crazy single tracks and fireroads, mini rock gardens (where the rocks turn into grilled pork chops when it's 8PM and your big intestine is eating up your small intestines ;D ;D ) Night riding is the best!!!it was very cold and a bit scary but you will be surprised how fast you get back to the transition area yet you are riding very slow and cautious.and everytime you get in the trail it's like a new trail again (even if you made 4 or 5 laps already)it was the best and a bit freaky out there but all good! Like i've said earlier,it's a "fiesta" out there. There was so much food that you can't decide which one to eat first. all the PinoyMTBiker folks shared what they brought (and there was a lot to share) and brusko's putanesca was a box office hit! so much fun! there was never a dull moment out there, laughter filled the air most of the time. everybody had a great time. shared stories and stuff. There were also monsters (imagine a solo rider doing 50++ laps!!! ) who joined the race and we were able to rub elbows with some of them. They're not that scary looking though. ;D ;D i'll leave the other details to the rest.i'm still tired but very happy. To team "Dukwit" - Team mates Arnold and Marcial, Biggest thanks to you guys! had a blast teaming up with you.had lotsa fun.thanks again. To all the PinoyMTBiker folks who participated and all the crew who helped out, Big thanks to all of you!it was truely a wonderful experience. Proud to be a PinoyMTBiker!

Team Pornstars will change it's name to Team Chemical Brothers. We must have drank so many Ion Energy Drink, Gatorade, Red Bull, PowerBar, PowerGel, En-Snow (Can't Seen But Can Eaten! hehehehe it's a Japanese sports drink)!!!! It was lots of fun. First time to do camping as well! And that feeling of Team Spirit is really there. For me, that track is permanently imprinted in my mind . . . starts with a not so clear singletrack descent through tall talahibs, exits on a short double-track climb, fast single-track descent through two rickety bridge (which miraculously survived the 24 hour onslaught), then a a gradual single-track ascent, exiting to a fireroad, which is flat on the first part then steadily climbs. The fun starts at the end with a flat double-track ride for about a km or so, with pockets of gravel along the way. the it's a double-track descent on a seriously rocky trail, with a tight rocky turn at the end, through a rocky stream, and then a fireroad climb again! some flats, then another short ascent, which brings you to a the last stretch of fireroad (which has another rocky slippery turn). The night ride is surreal, especially if you're all alone in the woods. really makes you think 'why the heck am I doing this?' hehehe. but am still glad I did it! and great to be with the PinoyMTBiker crew! (may banner pa!) There's chismis that sir Eboy was riding solo to get a feel of how a 24 hour enduro works. Do we see a Bataan 24 hour enduro in the works . . . .? Let's start training PinoyMTBiker! Although I think it's time I gave back and be a support crew next time Glad to hear QT_KAT is safe. Hope she was just shaken up and there are no serious injuries sustained.

What a great experience it was! During the last two laps that I had to ride, it was already so hot and I was soooooo tired I literally felt like crawling to the finish. I'm just so glad I was there with the PinoyMTBiker family.
Thanks to Joey "alienscream" for our PinoyMTBiker banner. Because of that, we were able to stake out our spot at the campsite. Thanks to fattire for thinking of the banner idea in the first place.
Thanks to team dukwit for saving us a spot at the campsite to pitch our tent.
Thanks to Jenny and Raymund Singson for coming over to give moral support, and for replenishing our ice for the coolers. Too bad they weren't able to bring samples of the magazine.
Thanks to Tena Beltran for sending over a case of Red Bull for the racers. There was a lot left over pa.
Special thanks to mcvarki for registering in the solo category just so he can ride with me during my runs. He biked with me during my shift of 12midnight to 4am, and I was able to complete 6 consecutive laps thanks to him!
All in all, the experience was awesome! You will definitely experience pushing yourself to the limit. Will I do it again? Don't ask me now, but ask me again next year.........because then, I might just say yes ;D

what a race. tight single tracks, short, half-loose wooden bridges (hehe), fast double tracks and fireroads, nasty rock gardens, and gradual uphills make this race course fast paced, challenging and wont burn you out. an awesome experience for me was riding in the dark. intensely pitch black. so dark you can see your rear tail light blink even if its behind your back. its like doing offroad rally racing coz your going down fast on those double tracks without seeing the next turn but then again, the turns are manageable and you can squeeze that break lever just within a blink to make that turn.... really exhillirating. specially if you're trying to chase a rider, deep inside, you wanna crank up the RPM. riding in the dark kept my thoughts busy specially when i'm alone. makes you think you're not alone even if you are, hehe. just seeing those tail lights in front of you makes you happy bcoz of company. and then you'll start cranking those pedals again. seeing odd shapes and shadows of plants and the odd sound of your drivetrain when its not in its right gear and the void section to your right with a tall tree, really freaky. no wonder i finished my 13 laps when it was still dark, hehe. thanks to my team mates owen (fattire) and nicolo (brusko) for the company, food and everything else. sorry if i had to crash. i could've done more but it was really painful. the best crash of my life (in a painful way that is, hehe). thank god i was able to finish those 12 laps or else i could've killed myself, hehe. thanks also to marshall for the betadine and the shelter, bandido for the camping chairs to sit on and tofi for the bar-b-q, tolits for the spaghetti, joey alien for the banner, doc jayson (super thanks) (bikedaddy) for letting me borrow qt-kat's (kate) stem when mine broke down and to every PinoyMTBiker soul who was present at the la mesa water shed, thanks for all the support. (hope kate's ok and hope pretty soon she'll be up on her feet and start pedalling soon.) hopefully there will be more 24hr races to come and that more PinoyMTBiker folks will be participating. its really a great experience chatting with your bike buddies while camping and biking at the same time. congrats to those who joined. they say pain is temporary. i hope scars too, hehehe. pics at the campsite. sorry for not posting action pics. everybody was having such a great time. thanks for the banner joey. i guess we forgot to tell you that this is a cross country race, hehe ;D the PinoyMTBiker delegates our team (balbon) team camote

First of all, thanks to the organizers for putting this event together. Secondly, thanks to my team mates Arnold(bandido) and Tofi (XCtofi) - it was an honor riding with you guys. Thirdly, thanks to all my PinoyMTBiker family - the bond that we built together in that race is priceless I thought after this race I will not be looking at my bike for a while.. I was wrong. My wife can only shake her head upon seeing me kalikot my bike the very next day hehehe Just one more thing - I remember doing 12 laps.. but the scorecard shows 13 ... anybody missing a lap? Im thinking of filing a protest or maybe I was "sleep-biking" hehe

congrats guys!
my a$$ and my hips still hurts (no thanks to my 2 awesome dumba$$ acrobatics). i wasn't able to do the whole thing (a very sane decision). it was a very great experience. great to see new faces & those who we regularly chat with in the forum.
hope all our wounds will heal fast.
see you next time! EB ride!!!

Im thinking of filing a protest or maybe I was "sleep-biking" hehe ako rin..am just wondering..my total number of laps can't be an even number (18?)..coz we started out doing one lap each then when paul's rear derailleur conked out on his second run i started doing 2 laps (on my 2nd turn) and from then on ...so it should be either 17 or 19. the number i was using was 48 not 47 as per score/lapcard..nagkabaliktad yata kami ni jay..pero baka kami rin ang mali sa distribution.

Congratulations to PinoyMTBiker team Camote who came in 8th place of 21 teams. Paul, Lito and Jay. and to all the other pmtbers who showed what stuff they're made off. I shudder to think what would have happened if paul had not broken his rear deralleur during the early stages. It was nice to finally meet the other pmtbers whose threads I read everyday, tofi, mr & mrs mcvarki (matt & michelle), Jonjon, Jay, nice to see the familiar faces, paul, lito, owen, maribon, migs...
Great going guys...!
Till the next 24 hr madness!!! Next time lets put up more teams.
