Reason for me posting this thread is that there may be TROPICAL remedies that may be imparted to me. I know that GOOGLE is my Bestfriend Its aFACT anyways, but really it bugs me a lot big time that the 2007 season i was plagued with boils at the exactly the same location ((beside my sit bones and my butt hole) Anyway THANK YOU for the spoon feed @ brusko THANK YOU.
Now to impart a teeny weeny bit of my self healing, cleaning, homegrown that is, After a series of test with different antiseptics, creams, and anti-biotics, ( I used to be a guinea big, before it was banned for laboratory use ) it has come to my attention that the best or ideal way of keeping hygiene is just not to soap and wash the butt area ( between the scrotum and butt hole area ) before and after a bicycle ride ( I bike to work and on my work I am a courier on a Bicycle 6 days a week ) Is to wash yourself with feminine wash, since then my boils stopped coming back. Before and after every ride scrub, scrub thats what i do.
THANK YOU so much <eVs10nacious<, dragunov, and Brusko for your precious time.

can i add? there is unfortunately a time in the lives of some people who develop an unusual number of boils in a particular area for no obvious reason. Asides from stressing the hapless victim into thinking that he/she might be a victim of a "mangkukulam" ;D anyway it had been found that people with such a problem usually benefit from using a type of soap which has more glycerin in it. it softens the skin and pores making it easier to remove the dirt that accumulates in the hair follicles that account for such pesky infections. A plant extract from the neem tree has also been found to be useful as a cleansing and disinfectant.... needless to say changing your underwear once in a while and avoiding tight fitting clothing are also of a big help ;D avoiding fatty, oily, and spicy food has also been advised by some but as we've seen... this season of boil sprouting usually passes after 3-4 months never to be seen from again... why? ... if you find out.... you'll be a rich man

I still love eating spicy, fatty, and oily foods but i always see to it that i change my "thongs" everyday. If i feel like having a boil, I eat boiled saluyot leaves to combat it. Magkakapera kaya ako don doc? And the neem tree, is it also the one that is being used as an anti mosquito?

hmm boiled saluyot.... i used to eat a lot of those as a kid... my bowel movements were sure a breeze then ;D wham bam... thank you toilet bowl cleanser i'll make some inquiries at DOST if they find that it helps... i'll put you in for the patent the leaves of the neem tree and bark oil is reportedly good for dealing with the blood suckers... but i haven't tested that one personally... but did you know that drinking alcoholic beverages outdoors attracts them? ;D

actually the boiled saluyot kind of served as a preventive diet for me when I feel like a boil is about to appear again, since that day on I began to take it regularly, and yeah it made poohing a breeze.
I wonder if okra does the same? Except for vitamin A, what other vitamins are saluyot rich in? Does anybody know? I only eat and eat veggies but I dont really know what they are rich in.
No more drinking of alcoholic beverages for me "al fresco".
