just want to share something, hope others won't mind... and may this help...
on beer drinking (on a regular basis)... studies have said that an average person's liver can tolerate/has an allowed limit 0f 2 bottles a day, which is practiced mostly in Europe. Beyond the available limit, drinking up to 3-5 bottles makes the liver a bit stressed...on 6 bottles and exceeding, this is where the liver starts to deteriorate...you may not feel it while your young and at your prime. but either Im not saying to change from drinking beer to hardys... again just want to share this... I ain't against beer drinking... just give yourself a moment to reflect... how many cases which are liver related do we know... in your clan at least there could be someone with a liver problem...
the figures are slowly numbering high... it doesn't develope overnight... it hits mostly when you least expect... my clan suffered a lost whom is just a few years my senior... one of my close cousin have died...

(allergic ako sa ice cold drinks... not the beer per se)

agree with you, sir nell... beer can really do lotsa damage on our liver. my uncle died of liver cancer because of this. he was one helluf a beer drinker. i haven't seen him drunk everynight though... but i saw him drinking beer in the morning instead of having coffee, 2 bottles at least; i saw him drinking beer on merienda time, around 3pm, instead of the usual pinoy merienda stuff; i saw him drink more at night before retiring to bed, at least 3 bottles or more... nah... he got much of it little by little... these days, my money for beer and cigarette goes to my bike...

its really hard to quit drinking... there was a saying i heard before na its better to drink na lang instead of smoking... well i think both of them poison the body... they say smoking hits our lungs and sticks in there... beer we can drain them out... oh yeah we can drain them out.. but most of the dangerous components of that substance have already been filtered by our body (liver)... that sad right? oh well... best thing to do really is abstinence.. but hell yeah it's easier said than done... maybe best way to deal with this habit of ours is to drink moderately and after the booze.. drink LOTS of water... actually hydrating urself the day after is the best approach i guess...
