Eat (carbo(pasta, rice) protain and fruits) and drink a lot the day before the race and eat small meals in between laps. Be sure to stay hydrated. Drink while you are on the course and in between laps.
Make sure you have a good sleep before.
Good Luck!!

Things I do before the race. 7 Sleep early...no sex no kidding! oh yeah, read somewhere that if you've slept really well 2 nights before the the race...then sleep very little (b/c of tension maybe) the night before the race...you will still be able to put out maximum effort. totoo kaya to? never raced before (24hr XC or otherwise) in my life, but noticed applicable to sa mga epic rides. hmmmm

Gul.. it depends on the body. I have a friend sleep more than 18 hours and let his pulse rate lower than normal before the race and he's a horse "kabayo". I tried that before when I did the 12 hour race. It works for the last 4 laps after that suddenly I feel so tired for the 5th and 6th lap. It depends on the body and training preparation months before the race. The body will adapt whatever kind of training you do at it well adjust to it. The 24 hour race was a tough one cause you try to finish more laps before you get a rest. As soon as you rested the body is not going to be the same. This race you need at least 4 months of preparation for training and body adjustment.

Let me see... 1. Be there a day before the race. 2. Bike and equipment check. 3. If you have enough time try to familiarize yourself with the trail. 4. Check out the competition(psych them out ). 5. Strategize. 6. Carbo load and hydrate. 7. Relax and get a good nights rest. 8. Pray and Aim high.

sarap sana sumali kaso it's too close sa extri baka mag coup de etat na sa ofis
If I were to join, walang prep! Kung ano ginagawa sa ordinary trail ride yun na din. Pero, yung beer, pulutan, and other night time entertainment ang planuhin ko ng mabuti
