sometimes they'll have good folding tires at John Wilkie in the P350-400 range. i was able to get Specialized Mondo Pros a couple of years ago that served me well. see what's available. otherwise there are a lot of steel bead tires out there for the same price. if you're not racing, puede na yun. if you're looking for racing/performance tires, Kenda Kalientes are available for around P1k.

Passed by tryon bike shop this afternoon and found Panaracer Stradius Sport @450 each.. bought a pair of 700x 23 (kasi Made in Japan ) but not yet installed I wonder if these are any good

i suggest Vittoria Rubino Pro 700c x 23. Bought them April last year at P1.5k per pair but up to now its still very reliable. Parang di napupudpod! I normally ride 50 kms. per week.
