Hello PinoyMTBiker Folks,
Need your help/opinions on choosing the right frame size?
What frame size would you recommend for a male who's 5' 8" tall?
Cheers!

i'd suggest going to a good bikeshop and getting yourself fitted as different manufacturers use different sizing for their frames. to be sure you can contact toots chua of joven for a bike fitting appointment.

Gambit - You wont go wrong with King's advice to get fitted ... but just to share if you are referring to road frames, Im also 5'8 and rides a traditional frame with a 54cm c-t seat tube and around 52.5 cm top tube. I think the frame is right for me with a 100mm stem Compact frames are measured differently I think.. hth

The threads XCTOFI mentioned have good info, and links to online fit calculators. Fit is a lot more important on road bikes, so do it right -- take your measurements and plug them into the formulas.

Toots' bike fitting contraption is at Cycling Zone. Do as King advises, you'll end up spending less, because you'll know the exact bike size, stem length, bar width and crank arm length you should get.
Call 8096736 look for jingo or ez to set up an appt.
