brad, u can go to cycling zone and ask around for the roadies ( izzy, one of the owners is a roadie and jingo, the other owner mtbs and has a roadbike also). the route ( m not sure though) roadies ride in the village is like a figure eight passing acacia ave, madrigal ave, country club drive, then pass cuenca(?). when ur inside na d village m sure the roadies will accomodate a fellow biker. there are several groups, some rides in the morning and another in the afternoon

Lucban,
I don't know how long you've been away but there's also the Daang Hari road right beside Ayala Alabang, It was widened already so its not so dangerous anymore. Its a 20 lms loop w/a little bit of everything nice flats & climbs, I'm sure you'll enjoy. I'm a mtbiker at heart but also have a tcr for training. every Tues & thurs 6- 8 am.

Is this Daang hari route safe? It's a very safe route brad, my wife and I also frequent the area. Wide, newly paved road with less motorists. There's even a lespu outpost ;D Lots of roadies there,........some mtb riders like us also. O.T. Are you from Quezon province?

Can you give the direction of this route(start to finish)ty Ok, from inside the village, if you're going to exit using the main gate, turn left after the gate. This wide road will follow a parallel direction to the village's wall. Just stay on this road and the wide road after a short narrow road will be daang-hari. You wont miss it....If you're coming from outside AAV just turn right BEFORE the main gate....but of course you know that already ;D Loop ka lang ng loop. Ride safe balikbayan, Mabuheeey!!!

grooving fungus,
Saturday and Sunday morning from around 6:30 to around 10:00 am probably close to a hundred people on road bikes doing the 12 k loop . the 12 k loop is a big figure eight which covers the whole village . During weekdays , if you want to hook up with other riders in the morning just do the reverse direction of the loop and join whoever . I live in Alabang and do road and mountain , and race occaissional tri . look me up if you need company .
