really? i thought a good road bike would cost you upwards of 50K, while you could get a good MTB for half of that.

MTB's of hi-ends, costs up to 200-300K, with the exception of the Honda MTB with the incredible price of P3M pesos, ( exagerrated or not heheheheh ) The "No Touch" Bike.

IMHO, (which costs less than 2 cents) mtb to roadbike comparison starts and ends on the entry level: cheapest trailworthy mtb vs. most inexpensive roadbike that will take you manila-lucena-manila in one piece. don't even get me started with roadbike wheelsets. i'm way past the eye-candy, mtb or road! here's another unassailable defense: i just want to ride, OK?

anyway what's all this fuss about roadbikes vs mtb's? Heck, if you really love cycling does it really matter?
Let's just put it this way, if a person can afford to have an expensive mtb and an expensive roadbike at the same time then good for him diba?
