thanks woofs, i'm no francophile but i'll endure the commentary (bec i don't know no french) if only i get to watch the climb!
off topic: you should have watched the race last sunday in UP, it was pinkbikes come alive what with a couple of Orange's (Patriot) and even another couple of Intense's (Uzzi, i think) that joined the competition plus a slew of other "keepin' it real" rigs.
someone even raced on a steel cr8 dabomb frame, ang galing!
going back to the topic: i took a nap today para di ako antukin sa panonood ng stage 16.
vive le velo!

Very impressive to see Lance catch and pass Ivan Basso considering Lance started 2 minutes behind Basso . Hats off to Jan Ullrich and Jose Azevedo for a strong finish on the TT. I used to be a Jan Ullrich rider (pushing bigger gears on climbs) I had 11/21 on my TT Bike then changed strategy 3 years ago to 11/23. Now Im riding 12/25 for higher cadence. C'mon Lance go for for six

For those who werent able to follow the race on tv (like me ) (edited: haba pala nito) [glow=blue,2,300]Armstrong Rules The Alpe [/glow] Lance stomps the competition in the most feared mountain stage. By Joe Lindsey, Contributing Writer July 21, 2004 When the route for this year's Tour de France was released, one stage in particular stood out: a 15.5 kilometer individual time trial on the legendary Alpe d'Huez. Would the new format upset the Tour's status quo? Would the race be won or lost on its slopes? Turns out, neither. But the Alpe did confirm what many observers already suspected: that the Tour de France is a wholly owned property of one Lance Armstrong (US Postal Service), who delivered his third individual stage win of this year's Tour en route to stamping his total dominance on the event...... click to read more

Kawawa naman si Kloeden. Ginto na naging bato pa. Lupet naman kasi ni LA eh. BISYO NA 'TO. Lance want his teammate (Landis) to win the stage but Ullrich chase him down and want his team mate (Kloeden) to win. Thats why Lance said "if my team mate doesn't win postal will win".

parang malinaw na malinaw na...sabi sa isang djaryo...Lance was at his fiercest this year! ....despite na binabastosan sya ng ibang French na specatators ;D Jelousy....This is the reason why he might not going back next year. Also a German spectator spit on him on the time trial in the mountain. The good thing he got revence by beating the Germans in the finish line next day..and that's sweet ;D ;D.
