do you have an idea how is this from that store sir spyghost? both are in the range of 10k-11k when i inquired just a few months back if you got some wood and a bit of knack at carpentry you can make your own. i've got this stand for almost 3 years and have used it to build and rebuild my wheels i still do like to own a 'metal' truing stand though.... someday....

anybody tried using a minoura bike trainer as truing stand? pwede kaya I modify to attach un rim guide? theoretically, anything that can perform a stable spin of a wheel with a stable reference can be used to true a wheel.... so yes in theory the minoura or any trainer can be 'hacked' to be a truing stand... i don't have a trainer so i'm not sure how you can mount a front wheel there...

you can use your old rigid forks attached on wood or a metal with the same size of your wheelset for this and just use some wires to detect the wobble.😆
