Good afternoon newbie here (as in!). Would switch from fatbike to mountain bike. Honestly, I am not really familiar with specs/brand of mtb. However we own a Rascal fatbike which happens to be my hubby's bike.
I would love to have my own but I don't know where to start. What brand to buy? What are the specs? I am more than willing to buy a preloved bike if ever (kasi upgraded na madalas). I'm 5'3, what size is best for me? I hope somebody could help me figure out. By the way gagamitin ko lang siya as physical activity (pampawis) so di naman need na critical ang specs but I want one na pangmatagalan. I am eyeing trinx or cannondale pero kung may suggestions pa kayo na magandang quality, very much welcome.
Thank you!

first find a frame that fits you then build from there Check this out, although kasya ka sa Small -> www.competitivecyclist.com/Store/catalog/fitCalculatorBike.jspfrom there, go around shops and measure bikes that will fit you, then narrow down your choices. merong women's specific models ang GT and Giant. As for parts, kahit entry level pwedeng pwede, mas mabigat lang ng konti pero more than enough to suit your needs.

for built bikes, Giant probably is the best bang for the buck.

Sabak is still there but I don't remember seeing any bike below 10k. Cartimar may be your best bet.

ayun naman pala eh, he he he. daming shop na malapit sa 'yo, he he he. Life Cycle is the distributor of Giant. Specialized Concept store is there also. And ayun...last time i was in the area, Sabak din nandyan. MOB is on the other side of Buendia, pero along pasong tamo rin, medyo malayo nga lang siguro sa 'yo.

Been reading forum about bikes. Either TRINX/XIX/VOYAGER, tho I wanted sana Cannondale/GT basta wag lang yung tatlong brand.

^ What do you mean na "basta wag lang yung tatlong brand."? Aling brands yun?

Or if bubuo ako magkano kaya ang estimated cost? And anu-ano ang mga brand and parts na dapat ko lang pagkagastusan?

built bike vs. magbubuo ka with the same components. mas mahal ang magbubuo.
btw, BTC has a bike fitting equipment, tawagan mo muna just in case kailangan ng appointment tsaka kung magkano.
yung Giant Revel sells for 13K yata, i could be mistaken. which reminds me, magkano ba ang budget mo?

Okay, I know I won't get the brand that I want with my budget. If I'll go to TRINX, what's the most recommended model? Ayoko po ng masyadong makulay. Minimalist po ako, 2 colors will do.

thing is...i'm not sure if Trinx comes in sizes. anyway, most bikes today has options for a low profile color. recommend ko sana MOB sa 'yo eh, they have built bikes too for below 10K.
